1972 VW Super Beetle, 43,625 certified miles, 2nd owner. All original - not restored. Interior and exterior immaculate. Seats and carpets look brand new even though they are original. Owned for 40 years by elderly couple in Pennsylvania then moved to Florida. Always garaged. Absolutely perfect original condition. Not a bit of rust anywhere. Only thing updated was the radio. Original nonworking radio included. Must see to be believed. This is truly a one of a kind vehicle that is both collectable and driveable. It turns heads every time I drive it. I have a 1973 VW Super Beetle that my daughter and I started to restore for her first car. Well we did not get really far on it and now it just sits in the garage since she went away to college. Car has all the parts and many original parts. 1600cc engine was rebuilt but I have not tried to start it. Manual transmission included as well just have not had the car together to use it. Interior is in good condition with no tears. Great project car! This car is for sale locally and have the right to end auction at anytime due to local sale. Will consider trades! This Volkswagen Beetle is a pretty solid 1974 that has had a lot of work done to it and still needs some TLC, I have a lot of time and money(Over $ 2000.00 over purchase amount,) I just had the ball joints re-packed and sealed, the front end still needs work.

This Beetle has a very nice two tone exterior paint job it about a 10 footer(look at it at about 10 feet distance) so it really could use a new paint job, I had all of the CV joint boots replaced and repacked with Axel grease by a pro V.W. mechanic in Jensen beach, the mechanic also told me that the VW also needed other work done like ball joint replacement and other stuff(not done yet) and it needs an intake manifold gasket replaced, I have had over $1000 worth of stuff done but it still needs some TLC.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS MY 1972 VW VOLKSWAGEN SUPER BEETLE. THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER AND HAS BEEN SO FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF OR SO. I PUT ABOUT 40 MILES PER DAY ON IT GOING TO WORK AND BACK. CAR HAS BEEN 100% GARAGE KEPT BY MYSELF AND PRIOR OWNER. CAR IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA 32244. ODOMETER SAYS AROUND 47K MILES, BUT TRUE MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN. MANUAL TRANSMISSION. LAST YEAR FOR THE FLAT WINDOW AND DASH STYLE. ENGINE WAS REBUILT BY PRIOR OWNER 13K MILES AGO. AS STATED ITS MY DAILY DRIVER...WHEN I BOUGHT IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY INSPECTEDBY AN AIR COOLED VOLKSWAGEN SPECIALIST TO MAKE SURE THINGS WOULD BE GOOD TO GO MECHANICALLY. MY MECHANICS HERE IN JACKSONVILLE HAVE BEEN "HILLTOP MOTORS" AND "WAGENWERKS". I HAVE KEPT A LOGBOOK OF EVERY PENNY PUT INTO THE CAR INCLUDING GAS FILLUPS. IT IS PICTURED IN THE LISTING. CAR IS GETTING ABOUT 25MPG AND APPROX 225 MILES OR SO ON A TANK. I HAVE BEEN RUNNING MID GRADE IN IT. THERE IS NO MAJOR ROT ON THE CAR IN THE TROUBLE SPOTS BEETLES ARE KNOWN FOR. THE PANS AND CHANNELS ARE GOOD. THE PAN AREA UNDER THE BATTERY WAS REDONE WHEN PRIOR OWNER DID PARTIAL RESTORATION THAT INCLUDED THE INTERIOR WORK AND ENGINE REBUILD. HEADLINER AND CARPET ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL AROUND THIS CAR IS A FINE RARE EXAMPLE OF A GOOD DAILY DRIVER THAT HAS NOT BEEN MESSED WITH AND MODIFIED. EVEN THE RADIO IS THE ORIGINAL STOCK FM ONLY RADIO WITH THE SPEAKER IN THE DASHBOARD. HERE IS A SHORT LIST OF STUFF I HAVE FIXED SINCE OWNING THE CAR: REAR BRAKE DRUM REPLACE, STEERING BOX AND DAMPENER REPLACED, BRAKE MASTER CYLNDER NEW, VOLTAGE REGULATOR REPLACED, NEW BATTERY, NEW CLUTCH CABLE/PEDAL/PEDAL SPRING/SHAFT HOOK/BOWDEN TUBE, NEW HEADLIGHTS AND TAG LIGHT, NEW TIE ROD END, OILS CHANGE EVRY 3K MILES, VALVE ADJUSMENT, MINOR FILTERS, FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER AND TIRE ROTATION AND BALANCE AS WELL. CAR ALSO HAS AN ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. THINGS THAT ARE BROKEN: NEEDS NEW FLOAT IN GAS TANK SO GAS GUAGE READS EMPTY, WASHER PUMP WORKS BUT NO HOSES TO CONNECT BOTTLE SO IT WILL SPRAY, NO KEY FOR GLOVE BOX (UNLOCKED). THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT IS COSMETIC IS PAINT. I WOULD GET THE PAINT JOB IS PROBABLY 20 YEARS OLD OR SO....ROOF IS FADED SLIGHTLY FROM FLORIDA SUN....SIDES/FRONT/REAR ARE LOOKING GOOD THOUGH...NICE AND SHINY. Car is fully restored paint, body, mechanical work is done, Haggerty Insurance rates the car a B out of four A B C D. Engine done by Fisher Buggy's, Car restored by Olsen's VW in Tampa Florida, Daughter has had a baby and don't want to keep the car. We have over 10K in the car, we all the documentation and dvd when the car was restored.
