All lights and electrical accessories function properly. Interior is almost all new, new carpet, door panels, headliner, seats are original but in excelent condition. Wheels and wheel caps were sand blasted and painted when car was painted, has new tires as well. Engine starts right up and runs great, gets over 30mpg, drives like new, clutch was replaced when engine was rebuilt. All new fluids. This car is in very good condition, great daily driver or take it to car show and turn heads with the herbie love bug look. The car has been certified by New Century Volkswagen of Glendale.There are some minor bumps and scratches on the bumpers (#citylife) but overall the exterior and interior are in excellent condition and the 2.5 L engine gives a ton of pick me up, has been well taken care of and runs great!I am the original owner of the car. Non-smoker. I have had a few repairs done on the car, but only cosmetic. Car has never been in anything other than minor fender benders. Great condition. Rebuild transmission in 2014. External transmission cooler kit fitted recently too. If you read the forums this is a must have to keep your rebuilt transmission working well and at low temperatures. Brand new proper van tyres and suspension (all others I have seen have standard car tyres on) Swivel passenger seat and pull out bed in the back. Tinted windows and curtains (though I never figured out what curtain went on what window... I'm sure they are all there!) Some clear coat peeling off hood but nothing major and can be sprayed. Come with everything you need to camp with. Fire pit and BBQ tools. Pans. Blankets. 8 man tent. Chairs. Ace cooking stone for gourmet cooking at the campsite. Plus much more. 145,000 on the clock and going strong. A lot of money spent on this van to make it as good as it is now. I've been camping locally with the wife a few times in this now and it's such a handy van! Perfect for road trips! Overall in great condition with signs of use consistent with age and NO RUST! Selling as is with no warranty. Selling as we are going to be buying a house later in the year and can't afford the luxury of a camper Pink slip in hand with clean title. Test drives are welcome!
