Growing up, always loved the 2nd generation MR2 but never had the chance to get one. In early 2014, I purchased this car locally from an adult female driver who bought it brand new locally in the Dallas area. She decided it was time to give it up and let it go. When I purchased the car, the clutch was almost out and the engine ran strong but needed a tune-up. Car was purchased at 203k miles. Since my ownership, I've had it serviced at a local independent import repair shop and had the following done: *New Exedy OEM replacement clutch and throw-out bearing*New timing belt & water pump, front and rear crankshaft seals*New accessory belts (AC, alternator, etc)*New valve cover gasket, new camshaft seals*New Oil Pan gasket*New motor mount*Tune-up: Spark plugs, K&N air filter, 02 sensor, NGK wires, distributor cap/rotor, fuel filter*New Front & Rear rotors/pads*"Speed source" bushing kit for smoother/precise shifting*Redline 75w-90 transmission gear oil After driving the car for a few months (FALL 2014), I decided to have the suspension work done:*Prothane Urethane Bushing kit (red)*New KYB Excel G shocks - Fronts/Rears(OEM replacement)*New Shock mounts (Front only)*New Ball joints *New front tires from Discount Tires with lifetime balancing/rotation/warranty. The headlights, power windows, power locks and radio all work (Original Factory Toyota Radio). The MR2 is a really fun car to drive, every so often when I do drive it I wish I didn't have to sell it but need the garage space and staring a family. I was told by the first owner it was garaged as it is proven so by the original paint on the car. I garage the car myself as well since my ownership to avoid the harsh Texas summers and crazy winters at times. For the most part, its been my "grocery getter/errand" car as I drive it once or twice a week at most, short distances. Up for sale is my fantastic condition 1993 MR2 Turbo. Beautiful car, fun to drive, and selling it is something I know I am going to regret in the future. These cars are nearly impossible to find in good, unriced condition, much less with such low miles! Car has a host of quality upgrades; GT28 turbo, Berk DP with custom exhaust, Gen 3 cams with shimless cam buckets, Apexi Power FC ECU w/ FC commander, air to water intercooler, 880 cc injectors on a Wolfkatz fuel rail, tuned on E85 @ 22.5 psi. Reliable, fast, and a head turner. Black leather interior is in great condition, and a Sony touchscreen bluetooth head unit is installed.I had the vehicle converted to R134a about a year ago, however it seems to have a refrigerant leak as the AC is not cooling. I don't drive the car very often, so I haven't been too concerned.Has 16x7 front and 17x8 rear Enkei RP01 wheels wrapped in Kumho Ecsta AST tires.Car is located in Laredo, TX.
