Too much to write about this vehicle! Send serious inquiries to me and I will respond quickly with answers to any of your questions! Vehicle is pet free and smoke free. I have owned it for 6 years with one prior owner, It had about 27,000 miles when I bought it. I paid about $10,000 for it and spent about $15,000 on maintaining and upgrading it. I am very clean and particular about my vehicles. Some upgrades include; Full engine swap with all the modifications and parts including exhaust and air intake (about $7000), new soft top, new windshield, new headlights and fog lights, tinted windows, light weight aluminum racing wheels ($1000), new clutch, after market alarm, speakers, head unit, amp, and sub (about $1500). I have all the paperwork on all the regular maintenance such as oil changes, tires, and breaks....all done by Toyota dealership and another certified Toyota mechanic. NOTE: this is an older photo but car looks the same just with smoked out side markers. Will take more photos when it stops raining! Car also comes with a few extras such as the stock rims. I hate this, but I have to sell it. Myself and many experts took their time, bought OEM, TRD, or high quality parts. I have everything TR made except the short throw shifter. I have over $14k invested in this. I built it for autocross, but I don't race. I just wanted a dynamite looking car that few people have. I have 98% of the receipts. Here is a build sheet. Everything was bought new. I have no problems out of this car. It's a tank. You'll get at least two thumbs up from other driver per week. Engine has a double plenum and rides on rails around turns. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Build sheet of 1993 MR2; 5 speed manual, SUNROOF up, TRD radiator cap, TRD oil cap, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, new fans and shroud, K&N filter, Berk style exhaust system (one of the best exhaust tones you will find), no catalytic converters or EGR system (frees up power), recent radiator fluid change, Mobile1 oil changes every 3000. Suspension: TRD lowering springs, TRD front and rear sway bars, TRD front and back strut bars, Tokico 5 way adjustable shocks, polyurethane bushings(full kit used), new inner and outer tie-rods(front and back), new ball joints all around, new sway bar rods, Gunmetal 5Zigen rims (Very close to body color)-7”front with Yokohama S-Drives (215/40R 17) 8”rear with Yokohama S-Drives (245/40R/17). Brakes: Brand new high-end drilled rotors all around, brand new ceramic brake pads, brand new rear calipers (fronts are perfect), stainless steel brake lines all around. Power steering: New Main steering computer ($800), secondary computer, ps relay is original (I have an extra), new ps pump, new ps rack-Total for just power steering-over $3000. Spare tire kit: Present. Interior: Black-all plastic dash and console parts replaced, TRD shift knob, Infinity speakers all around, Xplode CD/radio with IPod cord in glove box, gauge cluster was replaced with a used one, black crush-velvet seat and door cards (very comfortable), new driver window motor, new mats, newer rubber pedal covers, TRD carbon fiber tag. Ice-cold AC. New button. New brake light switch. Exterior: I saved the exterior for last. It has a gunmetal paint job. It has a few dings but nothing serious (you won’t need body parts), 95 tail lights and one-piece spoiler, 35% carbon tint, 98 clear front signal lights, shaved front bumper and debadged front and rear. I have 95% of the receipts for all parts. I love this car and I'm in no hurry to sell it. I built this car with no expense spared. This thing is a real head turner. There are only about 15,000 left on the road, period. I’m 40, I fell last year and I have a lot of trouble getting in and out. It’s like being in an airplane cockpit. It’s very safe feeling. I’m asking $9,000 obo. Forgot to add: this was originally a California car...so, NO RUSTtrimPPS: Forgot: New under window outer trim, brake light switch, floor mats, and all four rear brake lights light up as I used the original wire harness-Popular mod. Also new E brake cable, and 35% carbon tint, and turbo engine cover, as well as a new lighter. All t tops leak. This is the coveted sunroof version. Car and all would cost $16,000 to replicate. TRD doesn't make parts for this anymore. This was built right. You'd be passing on a steal.

Free-revving GenII 3SGE engine is a lot more fun than the stock 5SFE Light weight aftermarket aluminum flywheel & new clutch Retains the OEM exhaust system with catalyst - no provision for EGR - Check your local emissions rules. Most states exempt vehicles of this age. This was the base engine for MR2s sold in the Japanese market. Gen 2 3S-GE : Power - 165ps (163bhp) @ 6800rpm Torque - 19.5kg-m (141ft.lb) @ 4800rpm compression ratio - 10:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 244°/244° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 8.5mm/8.5mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 55mm Injector size - 295cc Notes - AICS The engine swap did not involve any cutting/welding/damage of any kind - since it is a factory MR2 powerplant. It could be easily changed back to the North American-spec 5SFE 2.2L. 17" aluminum wheels Includes OEM temporary spare tire & jack (not shown) This is a very good example of a well-optioned 2nd generation MR2. We are the nation's leading seller of MR2 parts. It isn't often that we offer vehicles for sale (check our ebay history). Occasionally we discover an MR2 that would benefit from a new life instead of being taken apart to save others. We probably spent too much time and money ($1500+ just for paint) on this car, but it was rust-free, unmolested, and only needed minor body work and a replacement engine because its 5SFE needed cylinder head work. It runs well and drives as it should. Aside from the engine and front bumper (oem bumper was damaged by curb), this car has never been modified or toyed with like a lot of others. It *really* could benefit (at least visually) from a set of lowering springs, as these cars had a rather tall ride height even with the factory 14" wheels. The 17" wheels fit the wheel arch better, but exaggerate the ride height. Passenger seat bottom has stitching defect. Passenger door panel has 2 small rips. Engine lid from turbo model does not have steel underside to divert rain water. Hasn't been a problem for us, but we try to disclose all known defects.

We sell parts from lesser cars but when we get our hands on cars that are in great shape we go through them completely and upgrade where we think it is needed have professional paint done right and pass them on to others to enjoy. This was just such a car that came with a JDM engine with 50 to 60 K miles and the guy we bought it from had another project he was wanting to finish. We could not part this car. It was well taken car of without rust and no signs of any major accidents. The car is truly a great example that is lowered a bit and has the adjustable shocks for your ride preference. I just don't see how one could be disappointed with this car in this condition.
