1966 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 lpb (long pickup bed). I have owned 12 FJ40’s and 2 FJ45’s in the past 30 years and I am the 3rd owner of this truck. This awesome FJ45 continues to appreciate in value due to the unique appearance, mechanical condition and rarity of the FJ45 lpb trucks. They were imported to the U.S. only from ’63-’67. According to SOR and Cool Cruisers the early models of FJ40s and FJ45s were manufactured with a higher grade-quality and thicker steel than in the later years from mid '70s to early '80s. I have found that to be very true...and this truck proves it. These trucks are the toughest in the world and are still used in South America, Australia, the Middle East and Africa. I’m not an off-roader, but do appreciate the capabilities of these trucks and their one-of-a-kind rugged appearance. Therefore, all of my FJ’s, including this one and the ’80 FJ40 I also own have been ‘babied’, as IH8MUD. This truck has been garage kept and driven on-road only. I have invested countless hours and dollars into improving on what was already a very solid truck when I purchased it. This truck is ready to be your daily driver. Since the truck was manufactured before 1981, it does not have a 17-digit VIN. The VIN on the original plate (engine compartment-passenger side)matches the VIN on the Texas title. According to SOR documentation, this truck was built in June of 1966, as May 1966 - June 1966 VIN’s 26778 – 27127 were manufactured. I have a clear Texas title. Quote from a Land Cruiser expert that saw my ad and messaged me: "I've worked on that truck myself and after the finishes you've done to it I believe it to be a good honest truck I would value it easily in mid-twenties in todays market. Good luck with your sale". He previously worked for Toyotas "R" Us (now Classic Cruisers) in Salida, CO. Original color was Freeborn Red and later repainted Freeborn Red. 6 cyl. F engine replaced by Classic Cruisers in Salida, CO (formerly Toyotas "R" Us) with Chev. 350 V8, Edelbrock carb. and dual exhaust. 3-speed transmission replaced by Classic Cruisers with 4-speed transmission and transfer, therefore it will blast down the interstate at 70-80 mph with ease! Those major improvements totaled $5,800. Interco Super Swamper TSL (three stage lug) 33 x 12.50 R16.5 LT tires (made in the U.S.A.) have with 80% tread life remaining. Slotted deep-dish black wheels with locking lug nuts. Solid leaf suspension (with 2" lift) and Pre-Runner shocks. Removable top, cab, and doors. Block heater plug for that ‘just-in-case’ ventures in cold temps. Recently over $6,150 (parts & labor) was invested in the following: Replaced with new or refurbished: Sun visors Steering wheel Turn signal post control and wiring harness Instrument panel Halogen headlights Battery with all cables Door limiters Heater (newer FJ40 style) Upholstery heavy duty marine vinyl with extra cushioning seat backs and bottoms (both 60 and 40 side) Window control arms Door latches Headache rack in bed Turn signal lights (2 amber) Running lights (2 amber) Front Toyota emblem and grill Side Toyota emblems Zero-rust protective coating underneath and Raptor bed lining in cab floorboard and rear bed. This was done in Freeborn Red color. Complete clutch kit Alternator and belt ‘Kill” switch ignition system (nice security device) Temperature gauge Oil pressure gauge All lights re-wired (even the dome-light works) 4-speed Transmission shifts smoothly Transfer engages properly WARN locking front hubs function properly 5 tie-downs each side and 3 on the tailgate are solid Tailgate latches and chains function properly Has a ‘Female’ towing receiver mounted to heavy duty chassis. (I have never towed anything with it). Antennae and cable mounted ready for hook-up. This solid truck only had a small rust issue in the driver-side floor board and it was professionally replaced with a Toyota OEM steel panel. Measurements: Height – Total 77 ½ “ including ‘ears’ on headache rack 75” ground to top of cab Width – 66 ½ “ widest point at bed. Add almost 2” each tire for total under 70” Length – 105” = 16’ ft. 3” total front bumper to tailgate hinge Items that I simply ran out of time in preparing it for the new owner: Undercoating on chassis, bed and cab for appearance & protective/preservation measures. (I like the Zero-rust products). There is only minor surface rust in portions of the undercarriage. Brakes adjusted Speedometer cable inop Engine compartment detailed This is a great (and rare) truck and I currently drive it 2-3 times per week……and get lots of attention. When valet parked between Maserati’s and Bentley’s in The Woodlands, this 49 year old truck steals the attention! FJ45 Land Cruiser pickup is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early for an immediate sale. I am located about 30 miles northwest of Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport. I welcome buyers to admire and drive this iconic truck to appreciate its true value. Buyer is required to submit a $1,000 deposit (non-refundable) through PayPal within 12 hours of the end of the auction or upon Buy-it-Now option. The remaining funds must be wired and approved by my bank within 48-hours before the vehicle leaves this location. I will provide a Texas Title and a Bill of Sale. Truck can be driven away or transported. If transported, I will assist the driver as I live on a large circled street that 18-wheel transporters have previously entered and exited with ease. I can be contacted via eBay email. I may not answer your questions immediately as I’m a tactical weapons instructor and may be training on the range, but will answer your emails ASAP. If you are serious about a rare, classic truck, contact me and I will end the auction for an immediate sale. Last photos include some of my past quality Land Cruisers that were sold on eBay. I have a 100% Positive Rating!

1984 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 3B diesel engine with 110,000 miles 5 Speed manual transmission & 4x4 transfer case disc brakes on front axle and drums on rear axle (tlc calipers) power steering and air conditioner aftermarket steering(unfortunately) 3 inch lift kit OME hydraulic winch 33x12.50 thornbird tires with approximately 500 miles chassis miles: 280,121 kilometers Body: original paint minus driver side fender which was painted by previous owner. has some small rust on rear tub where it curves by spare tire and minor rust on both driver and passenger tub above rear tires (see pictures). doors have zero rust , zero rust on frame ,minor rust on floor by rear ambulance doors(everything else on floor has no rust ), surface rust on axles and leaf springs. I bought this 42 about 4 months ago with a bad engine from a guy in college station,TX . I brought the cruiser home and had a local shop replace the engine with a 3b diesel engine that I purchased from another 42 with 110,000 miles. the old 3b diesel engine had a turbo glide turbo kit that will be included with the sale. have the complete kit just not installed on the new engine due to me wanting to keep the NA engine NA and build the old 3b turbo in the future. Cruiser runs and drives great , shifts smooth into every gear and does not smoke blue or white. Will be glad to send video of the 42 running or any other pics has a clean Texas tittle If I can answer any question, give me a call 8327760436
