2007 TOYOTA FJ CRUISER 4 DOOR 4WD SUV Finished in Yellow, the exterior shows well. The original white top has been painted with black texture paint. The Black cloth upholstery is in good condition. The owner’s son hydrolocked the engine going through a running wash in the fall of 2014. At the time the odometer showed 106,113 miles. The engine was replaced with one that had 56168 miles…that makes the actual miles on the engine75769. The clutch was also replaced when the replacement engine was installed. A: Insurance companies must declare a vehicle salvage from an accident when there is a total loss, but they have discretion with theft vehicles. Many insurance companies choose to salvage all thefts, regardless of condition, as a policy to avoid liability; this Toyota is such a vehicle. Q: Was this Toyota in a wreck? A: No! Unless otherwise stated in the ad, professionals have examined this Toyota and have concluded it has not been involved in a major, salvage-level accident.Q: How do I get a loan/insurance on a salvage title vehicle? Q: Why does this Toyota's title say the that true mileage is unknown? A: This is a common notation with theft recoveries. When the insurance company recovers the vehicle, they need to process a new title but often cannot verify the mileage -- often due to no keys and/or battery. When they cannot verify the mileage upon recovery, the "true mileage is unknown." Q: So how many miles does this Toyota really have? A: We don't know; we must go along with the insurance company. (Incompetent mechanics love to hand twist the joints and claim that the "slop" is proof of excessive wear) Therefore, to avoid debates with the truck thousands of miles away, please assume that this truck will have front end wear, including but not limited to the ball joints, arms, steering stabilizer, and all other parts associated with the front suspension that may require replacement. After-Sale Repairs: We will not reimburse any repairs which are performed prior to our authorization. If you feel there is a problem with your vehicle upon delivery, notify us immediately. We require that any issue be documented by video (easy to do with modern cell phones). You agree that any repair that you make without our prior consent will not be reimbursed and that you will hold Wheel Kinetics harmless for the repairs. Leaks: If you do not like leaks, do not buy a used truck. It is normal for trucks to seep oil, particularly through transfer case casting cracks, motor and transmission gaskets, etc. We inspect for fluid leaks, not fluid seeps. Assume that this truck will come with fluid seepage. Vibrations: Cars and trucks vibrate, especially used cars and trucks with 89896 miles. The only reason I would ever sell it is to finance something as important as medical school. It is in very good condition with expected wear including minor scratches on paint, sizable wear on wheel handle, and noticeable scratches on some exterior plastic features like the wheel-well covers, right mirror, and most significantly a single pingpong ball gash on the under side of the front bumper from going over a surprise log while off-roading. Otherwise, it has never been involved in an accident, I've never even received a ticket with it. It has lived in Oregon, Utah, and Arizona; forged snow, mud, rock, and flood; endured road trips, college shenanigans, and long nights sleeping in the back. It has accompanied me through surgery recoveries, awkward first dates, and a brilliant 12 person Trojan-horse style capture the flag rescue mission. I'm sad to see it go. But it's not really an option. I'm in Pheonix, AZ. Locals test drives are welcome. If wanted, I could even teach driving stick.
