Front and rear (ambulance style with individual soft top frames) doors appear new. Bumpers and grill finished in period correct colors. ENGINE remains stock while having been detailed. The bodywork is in outstanding condition, with sharply folded front fenders and correct rear quarters and very good paint. The workmanship is far superior to the factory standards in 1976, even considering Toyota's reputation for quality. Rear fender flares have been added to cover the slightly oversized off-road tires, and the front bumper has been jettisoned in favor of a heavy-duty bumper and winch setup that looks like it could pull the FJ up the side of a building. It currently wears half doors and a bikini top, but it also includes full doors and a removable hardtop, making it an all-weather adventurer.
