I purchased this truck new from the local Toyota Dealership back in April of this year. I had a 2010 Tacoma Access Cab that I had been driving for awhile and wanted a crew cab. I picked the TRD sport because of the color keyed door handles, grill, mirrors, and bumper. Of course being a big fan of silver......the color felt right at home. I have chosen to sell the Tacoma as I have several other trucks and toys, perhaps I get more enjoyment from building them than keeping them! Ok, so we all know what great trucks the Tacomas are. They are quite possibly the toughest truck on the road and have wicked resale value. Being a OCD clean freak, my vehicles don't see much use and never any abuse. I hand wash each vehicle and they stay indoors when not in use. Very seldom do I ever venture off road and NEVER in the mud. I always put nice all weather floor liners and I do NOT smoke......so you could say my personal vehicles are as nice as you are going to find. I chose the Tacoma because I think they are cool and I don't like losing money. I didn't want to get too crazy with a lift kit so I simply placed a 3in spacer under the front coil spring and a new 2in block in the rear end. This gives it a nice stance while keeping it as close to stock comfort as possible. I put some decent looking MB Offroad 17in balck alloy wheels with 285-70-17 Wrangler Duratrac tires. Most of the 18s and 20s were way too wide and you had limited options on tires that were not E-load. My last Tacoma had a camper shell and it was handy to run errands and not have to worry about items walking off from the back of the truck. What I didn't know when let the old topper go with my old Tacoma was that a new Fiberglass top was NOT cheap. After looking at options I went way over board on this Campershell build by Raider that had nice frameless windows on each side and the rear hatch was frameless as well.....CHA-CHING....about $2,000! Inside the Tacoma was the microfiber cloth which for me is hard to slide your rear in and out so I ordered new leather seats from Roadwire and went ahead and installed heated elements in the front. The factory covers were removed and the new covers were installed by a longtime upholstery man. I did opt for perforated 2-tone inserts.....they stay cooler in the summer and heat up faster in the winter. After taking it home a few tires my wife complained it was a little too tall so I installed new N-Fab steps that not only serve as steps but also help protect the rocker panels. My final addition was to be able to tow the Tacoma behind my motorhome and be able to use the truck in my business which is buying and selling toys and commercial trucks. I have probably put somewhere between 1500 and 2000 miles on it while towing....this is very handy when I purchase a large truck or motorhome if I don't want to fly or bother with getting a ride. I installed new brackets from Roadmaster and used a folding towbar I bought on craigslist. I ran all the wiring and integrated into the factory tail light using diodes to keep from damaging anything. It is a very clean install and the tow bar can be removed in seconds while the brackets take less than a minute to remove. Any portion of the towbar or bracket can be removed or changed out if your needs differ. I will more than likely purchase another Tacoma at some point so I am willing to lower the price if you do not want the camper shell. I do have the original 17in factory tires and wheels, however are NOT included in the sale of the truck. I do not have to sell this truck, it is NOT distressed sale and I am not interested in giving it away. I would be happy to consider a trade of darn near anything of value......as long as it has some cool factor! As far as options go, the only option that I could not find in a TRD Sport was navigation. The stereo/head unit is the same, but just doesn't have navigation app. At this day in age with smart phones, I find navigation in vehicles very outdated and difficult to use, so I couldn't see the need for navigation. It is equipped with a rather large touch screen that integrates satellite radio, back up camera, Pandora, and bluetooth. The remaining factory warranty is in place and it was just serviced at the local Toyota Dealership. (36 month 36k bumper to bumper and 60 month 60k powertrain warranty) I do buy and sell vehicles of all shapes and sizes all over the country and sometimes the world....so I can easily assist in shipping. Shipping generally runs about a $1.00 per mile from my location, Lubbock, Texas. Expect about 2 weeks from the time the shipping order is placed to when the truck would be picked up. Then just a few short days to arrive most places in the 48 state region. Because I do own a dealership, I will more than likely run the paperwork through my dealership to assist in temporary registration until the new owner can get registered, stickered, and tagged. However I do welcome those looking for a private party sale....for those in states like Nevada and Arizona, there is NO sales tax. If we do elect to use my dealership, ONLY Texas residents will be charged sale tax. FYI...Lubbock has a decent sized airport that all major carriers service. The airport code is LBB. I will be happy to pick anyone up from the airport and help as much as possible. Call Darin 806-786-7676 Additional Photos Finance Warranty Shipping
