1987 Toyota Supra Turbo, 136k miles, sun roof. I'm the second owner. Previous owner kept in garage stored the first 135k of it's life. Selling because I have too many cars. Car is in very good condition. Rare to find a 28 year old car this clean. Not perfect, has a handful of minor flaws, but mechanically in amazing condition. Starts immediately, runs great, turbo spools perfectly, car pulls hard. Is the stock 7m-gte engine, they are prone to head gasket failure because the head bolts were improperly torqued from the factory. Luckily, the previous owner has had the head AND valve gaskets done in the last 15k miles, so there is nothing to worry about. These engines are known to run for 300k if kept stock and the head gasket is dealt with. The TEMS (Adjustable suspension) works, as does the A/C. The sun roof works fine. Clutch grabs hard, feels new. Thermostat has a bounce, previous owner had it replaced, most likely a wire connectivity issue, haven't taken a look but likely a very easy fix. Speakers need to be replaced, previous owner claims they were disconnected, but they sound blown to me. Has power driver's seat, the forward/reverse function needs repairs, the gear which connects the drive rod to the motor has an issue, research online shows it's a common issue. Can still be adjusted in 15-25 minutes by hand with a 12mm, 14mm and adjustable wrench. Headliner needs to be reglued. The steering wheel, shifter, hand brake boot, and a/c controls are worn. Small tear in the driver's side door. Paint is EXTREMELY good. There are a few imperfections, the only notable ones being small bits of rust in the rear fenders, haven't put the car in the air yet but couldn't find any rust elsewhere. The tail light assemblies have been replaced, and are in perfect condition. Headlights flip up instantly, the wash sprayers work on the headlights and the windshield. Car MUST be seen and driven to believe. It is one of the cleanest 80s cars I've ever seen, and I would keep it if I didn't have 4 other cars. I would daily drive this car without hesitation. Maybe 200-300$ in parts and a few hours here and there you could have this car in near-perfect condition.
