1987 Toyota Supra Turbo, 136k miles, sun roof. I'm the second owner. Previous owner kept in garage stored the first 135k of it's life. Selling because I have too many cars. Car is in very good condition. Rare to find a 28 year old car this clean. Not perfect, has a handful of minor flaws, but mechanically in amazing condition. Starts immediately, runs great, turbo spools perfectly, car pulls hard. Is the stock 7m-gte engine, they are prone to head gasket failure because the head bolts were improperly torqued from the factory. Luckily, the previous owner has had the head AND valve gaskets done in the last 15k miles, so there is nothing to worry about. These engines are known to run for 300k if kept stock and the head gasket is dealt with. The TEMS (Adjustable suspension) works, as does the A/C. The sun roof works fine. Clutch grabs hard, feels new. Thermostat has a bounce, previous owner had it replaced, most likely a wire connectivity issue, haven't taken a look but likely a very easy fix. Speakers need to be replaced, previous owner claims they were disconnected, but they sound blown to me. Has power driver's seat, the forward/reverse function needs repairs, the gear which connects the drive rod to the motor has an issue, research online shows it's a common issue. Can still be adjusted in 15-25 minutes by hand with a 12mm, 14mm and adjustable wrench. Headliner needs to be reglued. The steering wheel, shifter, hand brake boot, and a/c controls are worn. Small tear in the driver's side door. Paint is EXTREMELY good. There are a few imperfections, the only notable ones being small bits of rust in the rear fenders, haven't put the car in the air yet but couldn't find any rust elsewhere. The tail light assemblies have been replaced, and are in perfect condition. Headlights flip up instantly, the wash sprayers work on the headlights and the windshield. Car MUST be seen and driven to believe. It is one of the cleanest 80s cars I've ever seen, and I would keep it if I didn't have 4 other cars. I would daily drive this car without hesitation. Maybe 200-300$ in parts and a few hours here and there you could have this car in near-perfect condition. No rear seat.I know the person who drove this vehicle into the barn in 1973, the 6 cylinder engine ran, shifted and stopped. The vehicle sat for 42 years. I pulled it out yesterday. Tires hold air but driver's side rear has locked brakes. All other wheels turn. Floor is gone, frame is okay, wood is crumbly. Some wood has crumbled away, some can be saved. Most of the glass is there. The missing dovetailed section from the driver's front door is present but not shown in the photos, so the front doors are complete. Included is a spare cylinder head, fuel pump, intake/exhaust manifold, oil pan, water pump and fan. The spare tire metal cover is included although not shown in photos. This is my 1931 Chevrolet 5 window coupe. I built this car 10 years ago. It's a all steel 1931 sport master Chevrolet body that has been chopped 3.5 inches. It has a Model A push out windshield and visor. The roof has been filled. The front grille is a 1932 ford car fiberglass shell. There is NO title for this car. CT only requires a bill of sale. It sits on a boxed Ford Model A frame. The frame was Z'ed in the rear. It has a split wishbone front suspension with a 4" dropped "I" beam front axle. The front brakes are disc and the rears are drum. The e-brake works great. I put drum backing plates on the front hubs to hide the brake rotors and give it a front drum break look. The brakes are manual and the steering is manual. The rear diff is out of a S10, it's a 7.5 inch 10 bolt and has hairpin style rear suspension. The engine is a 1975 350 4 bolt main small block Chevrolet that is bored and stroked to a 383 C.I.D. It has vortec heads. I built the upper intake myself to house the six two barrel Rochester 2-jet carbs. It only runs off the center two carbs. The outside four carbs are dummies. The engine runs great, starts great and gets around 14 mpg. Never dyno'd but feels like a 300-325 horse power engine. 9 to 1 compression makes it run off pump gas perfect. 87 octane no problem. It has a 12 gallon fuel tank behind the seat and a flip up gas door off a 1967 barracuda. It has a red top optima battery. It is NOT a Oldsmobile rocket, I only put the valve covers over the stock Chevy valve covers. It has flowmaster 30 series mufflers that are not too loud at all. the exhaust system is ceramic coated. The transmission is a manual Borg Warner T-5 five speed with over drive out of a 1986 camaro. With the over drive transmission and the 4:11 to 1 rear diff gears it goes 70 mph down the highway at 2,000 rpm. It's a great car to drive down the highway. The rear tires are new Hurst radial cheater slicks with the small dot groove cut in them. The front tires are also Radials. Ansen 14" five spoke wheel up front and 15" chrome steelies out back. With all these things this is a very fun and drive-able car. And gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. The interior in the car is very nicely done by one of the areas best. It is a complete interior done in the 1960's rolled and plates. Has a 4 point roll bar. Has all smoked glass in the car. Doors have manual crank windows. The seat is a original 1932 ford five window coupe seat. I'm 6"2' and fit in this car perfect but the seat can be moved. It has a tilt steering column. It has heat that works great with a adjustable speed switch. It has a four speaker radio system with a ipod/sirus/usb/cd compatable radio. The only issue is the power antenna no longer goes up. Has a "its a snap" wiring harness. I soldered and heat shrinked every wire connection. NO chessie wire connectors. Moon eyes gauges. All work but the speedometer is ahead by 5-10 mph and sometimes the engine coolant temp gauge does not work. It does have a gauge on the thermostat housing. This engine never over heats. It can idle all day in 100 degree temps and never go above 190 degrees. The electric fan works great on the aluminum radiator to keep it cool. The Heineken keg works as the coolant overflow tank. All in all this is a great car done right. It fits into the rat rod category but is by no means a ruff rod. Its a complete car with a flat black paint job. But do remember it has been done for 10 years and i drove this car to many out of state shows and it has a few chips here and there like any driver does.
