Up for sale is this rare and highly sought after Japanese import 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ81 Turbo Diesel! This HDJ81 is not for the faint of heart. It is built for a purpose, and that purpose is to go anywhere and everywhere in the world. It is fitted with Toyota's bulletproof 1HD-T 4.2 6-cyl Turbo Diesel, and it mated to an upgraded Aussie Extreme A442 5-speed automatic. This 81' is "triple locked" with front, center, and rear locking differentials. Full Old Man Emu upgraded suspension and steering stabilizer. Comes with many stock features that just weren't offered here in the US including a refrigerated center console, altimeter, compass, etc. This 81' has received a massive amount of maintenance and is absolutely ready to go. At 140km this truck was gone through from tip to tale by Outback Imports in Canada. It got their "luxury Package" which included all of the following: thermostat, radiator cap, fuel filter, air filter, all drive belts replaced, oil change, bottom end bearing replaced (cranshaft to connecting rods), valve adjustment, valve cover gasket, glow plugs replaced, coolant flush, new timing belt, tensioner, pulley, new batteries (2), fuel system cleaned, starter motor serviced, turbo inspected, transmission fluid service, power steering fluid flush, brake fluid flush, all new brakes front and rear, wheel bearing all greased, driveline completely greased, all ball joints greased, steering linkage adjusted, OME suspension installed, door hinges greased, anti-corrosion wax injected into inner body panels, doors, and seams, underbody 'galvaguard' for rock chip protection, axles and moving undercarriage parts coated with heavy duty enamel paint, battery heating blankets installed, engine block heater with plug installed, cooling system heater installed, etc, etc. The batteries were replaced, transmission replaced, and new fuel pump installed at 190,000km. The transmission installed was afully bulletproofed A442 by Wholesale Transmissions in Australia. At 192,700km the following service was done: oil change, air filter, rear diff service, front diff service, all grease points greased including knuckles, etc. 5 New 33" Yokohama tires were just installed last week as well. This 81' is READY TO GO!!! Please refer to the pictures for exact cosmetic condition. There are some chips, marks, and blemishes here and there and wear and tear typical of a 25-year old ruck, but if you're looking at this truck then youre probably going to put it too good use on the trails which is what it was made for.
