This particular 2004 Subaru WRX STI started out life in the hands of pure Subaru lover and enthusiast. When the WRX reached our shores in 2002 he immediately went out and purchased one, and needless to say in 2004 when the STI got here he went over and traded his 2002 in on this very car. This car was his baby, always garaged and cared for, only taken out on nice days, which are few and far between in northern Washington State. It was his weekend fun car, so it has had an easy life, mostly relaxing in the garage. It really is a time capsule. I had a 1959 Mini Cooper up for sale, and was contacted about a trade by the original owner of this STI. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't really looking for a Subaru, but once I heard about and saw the car I had to do it, his car was too nice to pass up. I took ownership in July of 2015, the car had around 15,000 miles on it. I have put about 2,500 miles on the car over the past 6 months, and have enjoyed it, but I am ready to move on to something more my style. Now down to the car. It is in well above average condition, the interior is excellent condition. The car runs and drives flawlessly, shifts like butter and accelerates like a rocket. The A/C blows ice cold and everything works. The exterior is in very nice condition with the normal wear and tear associated with a car of this age, a few minor rock chips and blemishes up front from highway driving and if you really wanted to get your eyeball within a couple feet of the car I'm sure you could find something, but absolutely no dings, dents, major scratches, ETC. of any kind. The car is LOJACK equipped. The car still sports the original Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires from 2004, with about 6/32nds of tread left on all four. Original balance weights on the wheels and tires as well. No curb rash or major issues that I can see with the wheels, nice condition with normal wear. Clean and clear Carfax and auto check with no accidents. The car has a few minor modifications: aftermarket Exhaust, K&N drop in filter, Cart boy Short shifter, and an aftermarket CD player.
