Thus ia a used 2005 subaru outback it has 235000 miles car has been well taken care of all its lifes no dents paint is in great shape drivers seat has been switched out for a heated leather seat car runs and drives good this is a spare vehicle for us and we no longer drive it car is sold as is any questions feel free to email car battery is dead it will need a new one I tried charging it I tried letting it run for a few hours it will not hold a charge I can start with the jump box the power steering line started leaking recently from what I see its where the hose goes into the pump looks like plastic don't know if it's cracked it had no leak when parked i took a picture to show leak and now I see alittle fluid in that area last it's been sitting awhile the belt make a noise so I'm guessing new belts the ones on it are over 6 years old and been sitting that is all other than that it's listed locally so now it gets started everyday when people look at it I'm adjusting the price to reflect work thanks for looking any question feel free to ask

You are bidding on a used 2000 Subaru Outback wagon. I bought this vehicle to use as a commuter car and I am no longer in need of it. I drive it daily and up until this week have used it to commute 112 miles a day. It is great in the snow. Everything in the vehicle works except the backlight on the radio (radio works). The car has power window, locks, driver seat, heated seats, keyless entry (one box but I have two keys), roof racks. I was told that the clutch was replaced before I bought the car but was not provided with any documentation on that. I have had no issues with it at all. The check engine light was on when I bought the car. It shut off after two days then came back on. I had it checked and was told it was an oxygen sensor. It was replaced and a week later it came back on again. It comes on and off intermittently but I have had no problem with vehicle. The car only did not start one time and it was the battery. I replaced it and have not had an issue since. The 5th door (hatchback) inside cover is missing and has been since I bought the car. I had no reason to replace it so I didn't. The car runs strong. Tires are good and it is road ready. It isn't pretty but it will take you where you need to go. WITH ALL THIS SAID, THE VEHICLE IS 15 YEARS OLD WITH 150,000 MILES AND AS SUCH IS BEING SOLD "AS IS." Just passed CA smog with no issues, registration paid through July 2016. White exterior, beige cloth interior in great shape, no rips/tears or strong smells. 251,870 highway miles are up there, but they were easy miles (previous owner commuted between Sacramento and Oakland).Michelin Primacy tires only have about 20% life left, some minor cracks in the sidewalls.Weather package (heated seats and side mirrors, weather band radio) Manual transmission was replaced at 219k miles. Maintenance has been done on time which is also reflected in the Carfax report. Done in last 3k miles: 4-wheel alignment, new front rotors and rear brake pads A/C blows cold! The system was also charged in the last 3k miles. I have had the car for 2 years (purchased at Fremont Auto World). The only thing I've done are oil changes, professionally installed tint on the passenger rear and back hatch windows, and added a properly fused 12-volt socket (the original one wasn't working). Everything works well except on some drives, the clutch pedal does not return on its own (this is apparently due to a $30-55 clutch slave cylinder that needs replacing). Most drives I do not have this issue but when it happens, I just use my toe to nudge the pedal a bit.The car does have a salvage title due to a mild fender bender (see last 2 photos - these are the BEFORE photos, not what the car looks like now) and in fact the hood was never replaced. The hood, all 4 doors, and trunk are original (see VIN pics)! So you can feel comfortable that the car has never been in a bad wreck. The Carfax history is good - made sure of this when I bought the car and I would not have gotten it if I didn't have a sense of what the prior damage was. It is mechanically in very good condition and the engine / transmission / clutch feel great. I drive the car a few times a week and the car drives great. Cosmetically there are some issues. The paint is overall in great shape (looks to have been garaged or waxed by prev owner). However there is a good sized dent (2-in.) on the front hood from the fender bender, and the driver's side fender has some paint chipping. Minor door dings present on the other doors. Bumpers have some paint flex cracks. The weather stripping on the driver's door is a little loose so the wind whistles when you drive at higher speeds. With the exception of the good paint quality, I think the exterior flaws are reasonable for a daily-driven, 14-year old car. I am only selling the car to replace with an automatic trans car so my wife can also drive. Car comes with the original owner's manual and booklets, scissor jack and tools, retractable cargo cover and rubber trunk mat. This sale is for a 2001 Subaru Outback. I don’t know too much about it, I got it as part of another deal. I cleaned it up and looked it over and everything seems to be in working order. The body, paint and interior are in good shape. The brakes are in decent shape but the tires will likely need replaced prior to inspection.
