Just passed CA smog with no issues, registration paid through July 2016. White exterior, beige cloth interior in great shape, no rips/tears or strong smells. 251,870 highway miles are up there, but they were easy miles (previous owner commuted between Sacramento and Oakland).Michelin Primacy tires only have about 20% life left, some minor cracks in the sidewalls.Weather package (heated seats and side mirrors, weather band radio) Manual transmission was replaced at 219k miles. Maintenance has been done on time which is also reflected in the Carfax report. Done in last 3k miles: 4-wheel alignment, new front rotors and rear brake pads A/C blows cold! The system was also charged in the last 3k miles. I have had the car for 2 years (purchased at Fremont Auto World). The only thing I've done are oil changes, professionally installed tint on the passenger rear and back hatch windows, and added a properly fused 12-volt socket (the original one wasn't working). Everything works well except on some drives, the clutch pedal does not return on its own (this is apparently due to a $30-55 clutch slave cylinder that needs replacing). Most drives I do not have this issue but when it happens, I just use my toe to nudge the pedal a bit.The car does have a salvage title due to a mild fender bender (see last 2 photos - these are the BEFORE photos, not what the car looks like now) and in fact the hood was never replaced. The hood, all 4 doors, and trunk are original (see VIN pics)! So you can feel comfortable that the car has never been in a bad wreck. The Carfax history is good - made sure of this when I bought the car and I would not have gotten it if I didn't have a sense of what the prior damage was. It is mechanically in very good condition and the engine / transmission / clutch feel great. I drive the car a few times a week and the car drives great. Cosmetically there are some issues. The paint is overall in great shape (looks to have been garaged or waxed by prev owner). However there is a good sized dent (2-in.) on the front hood from the fender bender, and the driver's side fender has some paint chipping. Minor door dings present on the other doors. Bumpers have some paint flex cracks. The weather stripping on the driver's door is a little loose so the wind whistles when you drive at higher speeds. With the exception of the good paint quality, I think the exterior flaws are reasonable for a daily-driven, 14-year old car. I am only selling the car to replace with an automatic trans car so my wife can also drive. Car comes with the original owner's manual and booklets, scissor jack and tools, retractable cargo cover and rubber trunk mat. Great winter car for the mountains. Mileage is all highway (going back and forth to our mountain cabin). Typically gets 30-32 MPG highway (including climbing mountain passes). Interior is in great condition. Exterior: three dings on the roof where it got pelted with pine cones. A few minor scratches elsewhere. All recommended maintenance has been done, including the expensive stuff at 60K miles. Trailer hitch installed so you can hook up your bike rack.

RARE Subaru Outback 2.5 XT Limited AWD Wagon with LOW MILES and LOW PRICE! For sale is our Subaru Outback XT Limited AWD wagon. 5-spd MANUAL transmission. This is a reliable and spacious car that has good punch with the 250hp Subaru turbocharged boxer engine. This is the same engine from the WRX car, in a wagon body. It has better mileage and is more zippy than the 3.0L version. Limited package with premium sound, multi CDs, powered and heated seats, leather seats, dual power moonroofs, 17' alloy wheels. SPACIOUS interior, we travel without any problem with kids, travel gear and camping gear. Selling because we're going out of town for a while and need to reduce the amount of stuff that we have to store. It has LOW 108,000 MILES, most of which are from highway driving during road trips (this car was not used for commuting). Clean title, zero accident. Official hwy mpg is 19/25, but we got consistently higher, 27-28mpg on highway, and 23-24 average city+highway. This is one of the most economical AWD cars on the market, in particular it has better mpg than the 3.0 edition. Maintenance was done regularly. Tires have only 10K miles, these are the Michelin Primacy MXV4 that get excellent reviews. I include pictures of the last few major services: - Full timing belt service was done just a few months ago - Front and rear suspension was replaced early January - The clutch was replaced 1.5y ago, the new clutch has only 12K miles - The tires were replaced 10K miles ago and look new. As a bonus, we will include a new set of rotors and brake pads. Note that the brakes have been inspected a few weeks ago and are fine with plenty of life left. You can come check it out in San Jose, CA pretty much any time. We need to sell this car quickly since we are going out of town on June 9. $500 deposit is due immediately, the balance is due before June 9.
