Answer: A reconstructed title is a legal document which will allow you to register this car in all 50 states and internationally as well. The brand "reconstructed" means the vehicle has been involved in a previous accident due to an insurance claim. Question 2: Is there a difference between salvage and reconstructed titles? Answer: Yes there is a big difference. A salvage title will be issued when a vehicle is damaged and has not been repaired yet. A salvage title cannot be registered without an inspection. The process of rebuilding and restoring is called reconstruction. Once a car is repaired a state DMV office will inspect the vehicle and issue a branded/reconstructed title which can be registered. A reconstructed title is issued only on repaired vehicles. Question 3: Will I be able to register this car in my state without any issues? Answer: Yes.
