1999 forester s nice car all systems work as they should bought car for my daughter 2+ years ago it had 118k miles on it at that time we replaced the water pump timing belt all filters and fluids the maintenance is all current now 4 new assurance goodyear 80 k mileage tires after that replaced all brakes and rotors this was all done at one time that being said car was ready to go she has driven it all the time never had a problem with it drives runs very nice clean in side as well no smoking in this car heated seats a very nice option as well ohio winters are cold the car has 140k on it now and I would drive it anywhere no rust that I see the paint on front bumper is peeling common with the mileage the engine light is off now but comes on time to time wet weather the plug wires will need replace at some point I was told the thing runs great she cant drive at her new school so were going get rid of it that is all I can think of any questions will be answered best I can email is fine or text is best 330 734 8261 thanks for your interest this will sell as is no warranty

Well-loved Subaru Forester S with a clean Michigan title. The interior is in excellent condition, including heated seats, heated windshield bays, rear window defroster, all floor mats. Upholstery is in excellent condition. Engine was just rebuilt in 2013, transmission is good, parking brake replaced in 2014. MP3/Aux/CD/Radio new installed in 2013.There is a small dent at hinge of front passenger door that makes for a noisier ride, but the door closes fine. Needs a new key fob (otherwise alarm is easy to set - and set off!). AC doesn't work - there's a leak in the system. Needs new tires. The main issue is that the undercarriage is very rusty (it started it's life in Chicago where they use WAY too much salt on the roads). There is a rear wheel bearing going out (very noisy) and needs to be replaced. I brought it to three shops and nobody would do the job because they were afraid that the rust wouldn't hold and they'd be bolting to nothing... I had to get back to work in NorCal and didn't have the time to deal with it. If you have the time or know-how, be my guest! Otherwise, this has TONS of good parts! It's still drivable, but I don't know how far I'd go on that wheel bearing, and I definitely wouldn't drive it over 55mph, just to be on the safe side with that. Just under 140k miles. Just did an oil change with the Mobil1 "10,000 miles between changes" oil - probably about 2000 miles ago, now. Can provide maintenance history upon request. Trying to get this sold as soon as possible. Any reasonable offer will be considered.

This is a reliable car that runs and drives very well. Has new tires and with the AWD this would make a great winter car. There is a slight exhaust leak somewhere that causes it to be slightly louder than normal but nothing too bad at all, simple fix. Brakes are good overall and should pass inspection but the fronts will eventually need rotors and pads. Body in decent shape, there has been some rust spots that have been repaired and spray painted, but overall very presentable. Interior in good shape with no rips and all lights work. The power moon roof and roof racks are also a nice edition. The check engine light is on with code P-0328. This is a knock sensor which seems to be a common part that goes on Subaru's. The part is readily available here on eBay for as little as $9.00 and the installation is very easy and can be found on YouTube. I have already ordered the part so it will be included with the car. Winter's coming, don't let this one get away!
