Up for sale today is an absolutely stunning 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT. Equipped with its original 289 Engine, 4-Speed synchromesh transmission, Power Steering, Carter 4-BBL Carb, radio and heater. It runs and drives like new. Chrome is excellent. Brakes are in great condition and the electrical systems works fine. I'm not sure about the mileage. I was told that an NOS speedometer was installed a couple of years ago, and it's showing just over 1200 miles on it, so true mileage unknown. Motor does not leak any fluids. No smoke at all, and it's very fast. Gets tons of attention! Car was recently taken apart and repainted Pearl Red. Radio is in-op. I don't know if it will work, but I do know there's no speaker in the dash. The weather stripping seems to be fairly new. When the pictures were taken, the inside door handles were mounted incorrectly. This has been fixed. Car is sold as-is, where-is. I'm in Las Vegas, so shipping should be pretty reasonable to anywhere. As usual, all funds must clear before the car will be released to the shipping company. This is a 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo (GT) Hawk.It has a V8 engine, automatic transmission, and a 4-barrel Holley with manual choke operation. It's in fair condition..it was driven on the roads up until 2013/2014. New water pump + coolant put in it April 2015. The engine runs great and drives great, although the potential Buyer should be familiar with manual choke operations! Wipers, heater blower motor, stop lights, headlights, & turning lights work. Brand new exhaust pipe + muffler installed from the engine all the way till the rear of the vehicle.Valve covers re-sealed + painted, including the air intake manifold underneath the carburetor.The paint is chipped in a few places. The interior is in good condition, except towards rear windshield, where the top of the seat is torn a little. The chrome is in fair condition, with a few pittings on the headlight chrome shrouds. It's has 31,255 miles on it.Current issues:- the wood finish on the dash area is peeling up - there is rust towards the trunk area of the vehicle and areas of surface rust underneath the rear of the vehicle.- the exterior paint is chipped in a few small regions, mainly around the 'edges' of the body...also, right above the directional indicator lights.... next to the radiator. The car is road worthy...it drives great! Does not come with battery. It is located in South Bend, IndianaNo delivery! This Studebaker runs extremely well and features overdrive, separate fuel pump, second engine fan (for parades), power steering, 3-speed on column, bucket front seats (driver's is powered), duel exhaust chrome tips, new 90-amp generator to handle sound system and an Alpine 143-BT AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth with 4-speakers front/back and woofer in trunk (professionally installed). Have really enjoyed day trips to Kentucky, Columbus and other locales in this auto. Sold as is; no warranties or guarantees. Deposit of $500 certified bank check due within 72 hours of end of auction; balance due 72 hours thereafter by cash or U.S. bank check. No paypal or wire transfer.
