This auction is for a 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. The owner tells us that her Grandfather owned the car and began restoring it a few years back but sadly in no longer around to finish the project. Here are a few details we know. The vehicle was painted a few years ago and the paint still looks pretty good however there are various chips around (see photos), the body is straight and solid. It starts right up and drives pretty good (engine, trans, brakes all work really good) but the tags are not current (it has been parked for years but was started every now and then). Most of the interior needs to be replaced, it looks like the driver seat may have been reupholstered at some point. There are a few minor pieces of trim missing so if you don't see it in the photos assume it is not included. The owner is still going through storage so if any additional parts do turn up they will indeed be handed over. If buyer is in CA, the seller is willing to pay to bring the tags current. Buyer is pricing it to sell. This is a steal and a perfect car to finish restoring. We encourage serious buyers to view the car in person but if you can not please view the photos carefully.
