EXPORT, NO PROBLEM... This is a Super COOL, Nicely done 62 Studebaker Hot Rod Surf Wagon in very nice, low mile condition. I did not receive records with the car so will describe what I see and what I was told. 48XXX original miles (per previous owner) with approximately 10K on SBC engine rebuild... 4 speed auto with Posi rear. Rust free with really nice custom paint job... pearl white with beautiful quality flames (under hood as well!!). Freshly serviced and tuned this cool little cruiser runs/drives great!... nice power off the line and will cruise hiway speeds all day. Definite daily driver capable... Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. It's a driver not a trailer queen and will hold its own at cruises and local shows... Body is super super straight with no collision damage that I can see. West Coast car is amazingly clean and straight underneath!!... Excellent driver quality custom paint presents beautifully with only some minor blemishes. Nicely done rims and bullet caps... trim and moldings are nice. Windshield has a few chips. Interior is nice as well in a surfwagon style. Nicely redone seat with belts... Gauges, heat, and electronics work properly. Dash has cracks under the cover... Headliner is good but has a seam splitting in the very back and a couple of the door panels could use some love... no big deal. Straight floor in back (factory I'm told)... Very comfortable to cruise in. Rebuilt SBC Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent...has some nice standard performance mods... 4 speed auto trans... Posi Rear has great all around gearing. Suspension feels good and brakes stop straight and sure. Nice Driver. Overall this is a nice little cruiser all around... it is well preserved and tastefully modified. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a great one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades (in accordance with ebay guidelines) but no projects or junk please. As with any vehicle, (new or used) there may be issues that I have overlooked or am unaware of. Very nice all original 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk nearly completely restored and is rust free having sat in garage for last 20 years. Engine runs smooth has been rebuilt and hardly driven since rebuild and I have receipts. The Silver Hawks were just one of few cars from this era that were aero dynamically designed for fuel economy and had a estimated 20 mpg off the lot. Painted red with minor touch up needed and trim and emblems needing to be put back on and windshields put back in. Many new parts in box and extra parts. Asking $8500 or best offer due to work still needing to be done. Beautiful rare one year 1956 Studebaker Sky Hawk. This car was originally purchased in Los Angeles, Ca and spent the next 3 decades in the careful care of its first owner. It was then selected to be in the Art Astor museum in Orange County, Ca for the next several years. Art repainted the car in its original color scheme but aside from that the car is completely original. Beautiful interior. Beautiful chrome. I purchased the car from Art and its been part of my museum collection ever since. Included with the car is the original purchase contract from 1956 as shown in the photos. Its a spectacular car. I simply have changed my interests to specifically European cars. Please email with questions or requests!

Up for sale is my beautiful 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk. This Hawk was restored approximately 9 years ago, five years before I bought it. Restoration wasn’t up to my standards so I improved upon it by adding all new chrome, engine dress-up and mechanical work. The car has had minimal use on weekends and to car shows. I was told it was a 45,000 mile car. The car has never been washed with water since I’ve owned it. I always detail and wax it, using no water to rust out the joints or to collect to rust other areas. It has never been in the rain. The paint is great with very few flaws, chips or scratches. All chrome has been redone. Stainless is in good shape with a few dents and scratches. All electric works, including defrost, wipers, lights and horn. Brakes are good for driving, stops good, but they are not power brakes. Steering is also manual. It handles nicely on freeway. It’s a little hard to park, but this is made easier with the suicide knob on steering wheel. All glass is good. Doors shut great. Engine is 259 cubic inch. Runs great; no smoke, tight compression; tested equal and at what it should be. Car goes along freeway at 60-70 mph with no problems. Handles nice. Transmission is 3-speed automatic. Works fine; no problems. About $1,000 spent on dressing up engine as shown in pictures. Pictures sum it up. Really nice interior, new auto meter gauges, except one, water temp which I have but no sending unit. It does have a gage which matches quite well and does work properly. Has electric tachometer. Windshield cleaner is missing bag, so it doesn’t work. Tires are nearly new. Exhaust is nearly new. Car is not concourse, but it is very, very nice. It gets lots of attention since it is on the rare side of autos. It has won several awards as shown in the picture and I am sure will win more. Please ask questions. If you live close, please come see it. Pictures do not do it justice. Thanks for considering this car. I am building a 1961 Hawk so I can’t keep both. Need money for that project. That was the first year for 4-speed transmission and bucket seats. Approximately $45,000 to build. $1,000 non-refundable down at auction end. Bank transfer within 10 days. Buyer pays all transportation. I will be here for pickup if notified.
