This fresh Daytona comes complete with newer upholstery, a revamped Sweepstakes 259 V8, new exhaust and an automatic transmission.Finished in a shade of cream, the paint is in great shape, showing only minor imperfections, most likely due to age and typical driving. The body is solid and shows no sign of damage. The chrome is in great shape with a brilliant shine while only showing minor imperfections. Overall, this is a handsome Daytona. All of the seats have been reupholstered and look great. The front seats and rear seats have been wrapped in red and white vinyl, showing very little wear, if any. The interior shows very well. The door panels and carpet are finished in red and look very well, complementing the seats. The headliner appears to be a little loose, but still shows well and is serviceable. The dashboard looks great and shows no signs of cracking or fading. It should be noted that the door windows are slow, the left turn signal on both the front and rear stay on without blinking and the horn and speedometer are currently inoperable. The former owner told us that the cylinder heads have been completely reworked and are nice and fresh however; we have no receipts in hand. The valve covers pop with their bright yellow paint and they look great. The engine is also equipped with a 4 barrel Holley carburetor and a new exhaust that sounds great. Mated to the engine is an automatic transmission that is shifted through a floor shifter. The car sits upon a set of 15%26#8221; steel white painted wheels with chrome Studebaker hubcaps wrapped in new 195/65R16 tires that look great.
