Up for sale 1/2 ton shortbox 1951 Studebaker pickup. Good base for restoration or hot rod. 98% stock components still in place . Truck has been sitting for many years, engine was rebuilt 20-30 years ago never started per previous owner, do not know what condition of engine is now, have not tried to start and have no intentions of doing so. Truck is being sold as is. Usual rust in cab floor and rockers.

Once in a lifetime barn find! Plenty of patina that only a Colorado truck could offer. This 99% original Studebaker is the perfect starting point for a restoration, hot rod, rat rod or resto mod build. Rust sure, rust thru, no! 75,738 miles! $6,200 or best This truck has the perfect amount of rust. The cab is in fantastic shape, doors operate the way they should, all the gauges are intact, wiring ect. My plans were for a tube chassis and some serious HP but honestly this is too nice of a truck to go any other direction besides restoration in my opinion. Colorado truck for most of its life if not all of it. Ft. Collins and then to Steamboat Springs where it was saved from a farm. Originally Gray with brown interior and red wheels with pin stripes this is a truly hard to find in this condition. Ran when stored and taken off the road. Last plate shows 1997 tag. Truck has a rebuilt battery and a some new plugs. wires need to be replaced I'm sure and next in the diagnosis chain. I started to dig into this project and haven't had the time to designate to it like I would have hoped so my loss and your gain. Wiring seems fully intact minus the starter wire(still needs to be redone ultimately.) Lights work, motor turns over by hand or by power but doesn't want to kick. I do not have the keys so that might have something to do with it. Clean Colorado title in hand 170CI Inline 6 cylinder 3 on the tree w/overdrive - See OD knob on dash Regular Cab SHORT BOX Step Side Original Chrome bumpers front and rear Cab Visor included 99% original - Missing hood emblems, driver window is lexan, steering wheel center emblem, interior door arm rests and one interior handle is not original. Heater, block heater and dual battery bracket original seat recovered The only spot of rust thru is at the very front the of the bed and it is a very small amount! The cab steps are in excellent condition, floor boards, engine bay, bed are all in great shape. Truck does have dents and dings, please see pictures and ask any questions you may come up with. Nothing anyone wouldn't expect from a 66 year old truck that was used as a truck but most of it can be easily fixed or adds that much more character if you decide to leave the patina. Driver rear fender is the worst shape out of them all and the only one that may be cheaper/easier to replace but still fixable with a little more body/collision repair knowledge. Two large dents are no biggie but the lower corners of that fender are rusted out. This is a Classic 1963 Studebaker Lark, 4 door Classic. Newer Paint Job that looks awesome, Newer good looking tires with most of the tread left, Interior is in good condition, the seats are beatiful with a new upolstry job! Carpet is clean I accidentally got some sand on the carpet in the back which I already cleaned out. Engine runs great, pretty sure it's a V-8. The exterior of the car is in great condition, no bondo used to restore that I am aware of. The speedometer does not work, most likely an easy fix, the passenger side door does not open from the inside, the handle is there, it just doesn't work, again most likely an easy fix. The odometer reads 38K which means it most likely has 138K on it. Im selling this for may parents since they don't know anything about ebay, but I can handle any questions you may have, please see the pictures.
