Once in a lifetime barn find! Plenty of patina that only a Colorado truck could offer. This 99% original Studebaker is the perfect starting point for a restoration, hot rod, rat rod or resto mod build. Rust sure, rust thru, no! 75,738 miles! $6,200 or best This truck has the perfect amount of rust. The cab is in fantastic shape, doors operate the way they should, all the gauges are intact, wiring ect. My plans were for a tube chassis and some serious HP but honestly this is too nice of a truck to go any other direction besides restoration in my opinion. Colorado truck for most of its life if not all of it. Ft. Collins and then to Steamboat Springs where it was saved from a farm. Originally Gray with brown interior and red wheels with pin stripes this is a truly hard to find in this condition. Ran when stored and taken off the road. Last plate shows 1997 tag. Truck has a rebuilt battery and a some new plugs. wires need to be replaced I'm sure and next in the diagnosis chain. I started to dig into this project and haven't had the time to designate to it like I would have hoped so my loss and your gain. Wiring seems fully intact minus the starter wire(still needs to be redone ultimately.) Lights work, motor turns over by hand or by power but doesn't want to kick. I do not have the keys so that might have something to do with it. Clean Colorado title in hand 170CI Inline 6 cylinder 3 on the tree w/overdrive - See OD knob on dash Regular Cab SHORT BOX Step Side Original Chrome bumpers front and rear Cab Visor included 99% original - Missing hood emblems, driver window is lexan, steering wheel center emblem, interior door arm rests and one interior handle is not original. Heater, block heater and dual battery bracket original seat recovered The only spot of rust thru is at the very front the of the bed and it is a very small amount! The cab steps are in excellent condition, floor boards, engine bay, bed are all in great shape. Truck does have dents and dings, please see pictures and ask any questions you may come up with. Nothing anyone wouldn't expect from a 66 year old truck that was used as a truck but most of it can be easily fixed or adds that much more character if you decide to leave the patina. Driver rear fender is the worst shape out of them all and the only one that may be cheaper/easier to replace but still fixable with a little more body/collision repair knowledge. Two large dents are no biggie but the lower corners of that fender are rusted out. Rear fenders can be sourced for roughly $2-300 Please feel free to send me your phone number and I would be happy to talk about the truck or simply send me an email! Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Thank you for looking.

WATCH VIDEO ABOVE FOR A MORE DETAILED LOOK. 1950 STUDEBAKER 1/2 TON 2R5 SWB TRUCK. LOCAL TRUCK ALL ITS LIFE. 2 OWNER. LAST OWNER BOUGHT IT '65, USED IT FOR HIS CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS UNTIL '72 AND THEN PARKED IT UNDER HIS HOUSE IN THE BASEMENT. THERE IT HAS BEEN PARKED EVER SINCE. WONDERFUL PROJECT THAT IS REALLY SOLID OVERALL. ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE STOCK FLATHEAD 6/3-SPEED. MOTOR TURNS OVER GREAT BY HAND AND EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD IS 100% ORIGINAL. TRUCK WAS PULLED INTO THE BASEMENT IN 1972 AND COMPLETELY COVERED WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING BUT A SMALL PORTION ON THE TAILGATE. EVERYTHING IS HERE EXCEPT THE KEYS. I DO NOT HAVE THEM AND COULDN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE. WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN SMOOTH. TIRES ARE ACTUALLY NICE AND TUBES HOLD AIR. GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A VERY NEAT AND RARE TRUCK TO PUT BACK ON THE ROAD. SOME BODY RUST ON LOWER CAB CORNERS AND DRIVERS DOOR, DENTS AND DINGS. DRIVERS DOOR WAS CAVED IN AT ONE TIME FROM WHAT I CAN TELL AND POPPED BACK OUT. BUT ALL IN ALL IT IS A GREAT FOUNDATION. ASK ANYTHING, ANYTIME. ALWAYS HERE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS WITH 100% HONESTY AND ACCURACY. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A FEW ANTIQUE CARS OUT OF THE BASEMENT OF THE FAMILY WHO OWNED THIS TRUCK. IT WAS AN "ALL OR NOTHING" DEAL AND I JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO PUT INTO THIS TRUCK RIGHT NOW. CLEAR INDIANA TITLE IN HAND. THANKS FOR LOOKING. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL. Shipping: Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility but I will work out the details with your shipper to load the truck up. Truck is sold "As Is" and "Where Is".
