Thanks for stopping by to check out this 2004 Volkswagen Passat GLS Wagon. Local Tampa Bay area car since new. Nicely kept car, with some recent minor rehab to make it useable every day.. Ready to drive and enjoy. Please be patient. There are a lot of photos on this listing so you can see as much of the car as I can show. This is a 2005 Volkswagen Passat Wagonin GLS trim. Always a local Tampa Bay area car, and a recent trade at a local Multi-line corporate dealership. A nice car to start with, it has been refurbished to make it a very good example of the marque. Runs well, looks good, and ready for a new home. Evidence points to dealer service at two Bay Area dealers. It was in good running condition when I got it, but could benefit from a little TLC, as most 10 model year cars do. Pretty minor stuff, and further on in the listing we’ll let folks know what we did to bring it up to a better than average standard.. This series of Passats share the drivetrain and engineering features with the Audi A4 and A6, making them a high line chassis covered by a mass market body. As a VW nut, I appreciate the fact that VW parts are way less expensive than Audi stuff, which appear to be made of the exotic material “unobtainium”. Guess they learned from their friends over at Porsche. There are really only two mass market competitors in the mid-size wagon class from the time, the Suburu Legacy, and the Volvo V70. The Passat tends to be more economical on fuel, less costly to service, and just as, if not more reliable than its competition. I have used this wagon as a daily use car since I suffered nerve damage in an accident which required emergency back surgery. There are days when I just could not drive a manual transmission car, and this was my “go to” ride. As a result, I’ve put a lot more than my usual time with a car, and have had it long enough to run through 2 full oil change cycles. Has not burned or dripped oil that I can observe, and have seen none of the telltale signs of sludge or other issues. Has averaged high 20’s on fuel consumption overall, so its been darn economical for a mid-size car. Read on for more descriptive information Exterior. Silver/green. The exterior is in good to very good condition, with minor flaws reflecting its age and miles. A small door ding on the left front door, a small assorted normal wear and tear items shown in the photos, but otherwise very presentable. It appears that the only paintwork has been the rear hatch which color matches the rest of the car. All of the glass is good, without cracks or chips, all trim is in good shape. Both the headlights and tail lights have been replaced with new aftermarket items (tails from the OE manufacturer) as they were hazy and don’t believe in the quicky polishing jobs that look great for about 60 days and then fog up worse. A common issue on Southern cars due to the exposure to UV rays. The Interior. It’s the GLS uplevel trim, which means the seating services are leather. Front multi-adjustable seats, aluminum trim, sunroof, power windows, power locks, etc. Its been refurbished with a re-glue of the door panel inserts, new material on the front seats, a new headliner, and a really good cleaning. The seats were recovered to match the OE color and style.. Was OK before, but it’s a lot nicer now. Also a new shiftboot and knob. Everything else in nice condition. Factory audio system working well. All of the windows work, the sunroof is functional and water tight, the heat works, A/C is cold, all of the controls work, including the cruise control and the center display is bright and clear. Overall, about as nice as you would expect. Drivetrain. This is a 1.8t with a 5speed automatic with Tiptronic manual control. A pleasant driver with nice smooth operation. Starts right up, idles smooth, shifts well, stops decently, runs cool with good oil pressure. NO SMOKE, no funny smells. All of the controls work, tracks straight and pretty much does all of the things that its supposed to do. The ride is firm, but assured. With the wagon body style, outward visibility is excellent, and with the fold down rear seats, cargo capacity is really good. As I mentioned, this has been a daily driver type car for me, and the color combination gives it a conservative look in traffic. It blends in to a crowd and it tends not to attract the attention of our friends in traffic enforcement. I can’t say its invisble, but you’d have to do something pretty stupid to attract attention. More than quick enough to keep out of its own way, corners and stops well enough to keep safe. I do mostly Volvo, Saab, and VW cars, with a soft spot for the 70’s and 80’s models. They are decent to drive, pretty reliable, and have just enough nostalgia (and brakes) to be entertaining and comfortable to drive in traffic. This one started out in nice condition, but we went ahead and went through it top to bottom so it won’t give you grief right after purchase… •The aforementioned headlamps and tail lights. Fronts are a well known CAPA certified aftermarket replacements, the rears are OE supplier to VW aftermarket •A new headliner •Front seat refresh in matching interior color •Oil and Filter change •A driver’s side front axle •Front alignment check It also got a general fussing over to adjust all of the little things that a car always seems to need. Nothing specific comes to mind, but everytime it was taken out, we came back and did something to make it run better. Has been Vag-com scanned and a copy of the final scan before delivery will come with the car for your peace of mind. When it came to us, we did an initial scan and it was clean, without stored codes, kind of unusual for a VW, Saab or Volvo. The result is a car that is a responsive pleasant driving car. It all works as it should, heads down the road as it should, and its ready for its new owner. Its got a spare which looks good. Has all of the tools. We have 3keys, two flip/remote and one traditional. Tires are about 80%, axle matching in the correct factory size and speed rating, and well known brands. Full set of books, full size spare, all of the tools. Wheels have a little rash on them, but are round and true. I’ll be putting a few more miles on it over the next week just to make sure I have not missed anything it needs to be the best it can be so we’ve added a few miles to the listing. Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions that I get on my listings: What’s the worst thing about this car? Kind of wish it had a few less miles, but other than that, nothing known that has not been described or pictured in the listing that I am aware of. What’s the best part of the car? It does everything its supposed to do. Could I drive this car back home Can’t see why not. I’ve driven it in town and on the highway up to 80 mph, and no issues. The reserve, which WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED, is not unreasonable given the condition of this car. It’s a used car, not an investment in automotive art SO IF YOU ARE REASONABLE, I WILL BE TOO . Please take an opportunity to look at the photos, ask any questions that you might have, and then feel free to press that bid button……… A Few words about condition, business philosophy, and why I’ve listed on E-Bay since 2001. I try to accurately describe the listed vehicle to the best of my ability, but like you I am human, and assure you that I will not hide any known defects that materially impact the vehicle. I want you to feel “comfy” pressing the bid button! I don’t offer anything that I would not and have not driven myself, but please understand that all vehicles are complex machines and what works perfect right now may not the next time. Just like a new pet from the shelter, its first act as new member of the family might be to “mark its spot”. If you have doubts, feel free to ask questions PLEASE ask for the inspection report!! What I try to bring to the table as competitive advantages are three fold: 1.Knowledge of the brands of vehicles I choose to offer. 2.Ability to find skilled crafts people in the trade who do good work at a fair price. 3.Lower overhead. I’m not in the local retail market, so no fancy showroom in a high cost location. I’ll be glad to share any additional information that I have about any item listed, and about the marque in general, but please understand that its up to you to determine if the car listed in this auction is the right one for you. Please don’t assume….it’s a good way to be disappointed…the only ‘stupid’ questions are the ones not asked, and after the auction is over is not the time to determine whether or not y’all want the listed vehicle! Even NEW CARS might need some attention…like the battery on my wife’s 2017 car whose battery died 12 days after it was purchased, so if you have any doubts, feel free to make arrangements to have the vehicle inspected while its “at the auction” or ask for a copy of the inspection report which I will gladly provide to all bidders. Also, please feel free to contract with an independent concern to have the car third party inspected…I’ll be glad to share my experience about them, but please don’t ask me to recommend one over another…some are better than others…some do an excellent job, some are a waste of time and money. Spending every last dime you have on a used car with an expectation that it will give you faithful service with no additional expenses for the next 10 years probably is not a real good idea, so use your head, spend within your means, and leave a little in reserve for a ‘rainy day’. I try very hard to use objective terms in the listings, and where possible, can provide quantitative data on things that can be measured without taking the car apart, so if you have questions on things like tread depth, compression readings, voltages and the like, feel free to ask and if its possible to provide the data I will. However, please keep in mind that terms like Excellent, Mint, Good, etc. are subjective terms that vary from situation to situation, and from individual to individual, so if in doubt please refer to the photos AND feel free to ask detailed questions. Remember that this is a USED CAR!!!!. While I try my best to make sure each unit has been carefully described, you should be aware that they are not in "as new" condition, except where the addition of new parts has been indicated. There can be undiscovered flaws, but each car has been gone through using a two page checklist, a daily use evaluation (that means I’ve actually driven it, in traffic, just like an owner might use it) , and an overall visual inspection. Cars with built in diagnostics such as OBDII are also read, and identified flaws corrected. We don’t just shut the light off, we find out why the light came on in the first place so. Each car has been given a check of all safety systems, all operational controls are functional, and any needed repairs or replacements are performed unless otherwise indicated. Unless otherwise indicated, these cars are being “AS IS”, WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. To make things really clear, if its not as described, I’ll bust my butt to make it right before it goes out the door, but if you blow a hose while doing 90 mph 6,000 miles down the road and warp the head ‘cause you decide to make it to the next exit 26 miles south and expect me the pick up the tab, please don’t bother to bid…neither one of us will be happy…. While I do my best to offer the best cars that I can, I am not able to predict the future (If I could, I could see a job at the Federal Reserve...), hence the "no warranty" provision of the transaction. If you feel the need to find a warranty of some sort, there are some excellent providers that can be found on the 'net, along with some not so good ones. I don't offer them since some companies that offer some sort of protection do so at a cost that I don't think is reasonable and offer as "incentive" for the seller as much as 50% of the purchase price! I'm here to offer cars, some interesting parts, and some other auto related items and leave it at that. I’m not in this to lose money, or to rob folks, just to try to keep busy, earn a decent living, and make it to retirement without having to dip into my savings from my days in Corporate America. To help calibrate what I’m doing, like you, I go searching on e-bay for a decent deal on a car to make sure that what I’m doing is the right thing. I’ve been both thrilled and so angry I could spit nails over the way folks describe what they are offering. Unless specified in the description, all cars have a clean title history. Please e-mail me for particulars on any vehicle. In no case will I sell a car that has had any structural damage that has the potential to impact the safety or quality of the vehicle. If I don’t feel comfy showing the car in person, it will never make it to E-Bay. You are welcome to inspect the cars at any time during normal business hours and the reserve price, if any, will be LESS than the local offer price for the car. I built my first VW motor when I was 14, and that's more years ago than I'd like to admit, and approach each car as if it was going to be my own or a family member’s. In my prior career I was a corporate "weenie" with the same firm for 25 years and when it came time to do something different, I turned my hobby into a business. That “hobby” has turned in to a full time, 6 day a week business for almost 16 years. Although we may never meet face to face, I want to earn your trust, and hopefully your repeat business and your recommendation. I’m not some “ex new car dealer whose wife threw him out of the house”, “an official liquidation center for vehicle disposal”, or a “new car trade in wholesaler” who never even drives what they are selling, but a car nut and now small business person who believes that it is possible to buy a car from an ethical source who is familiar with the car. I stick with marques I’m familiar with, so as to minimize potential problems, and source the cars from reliable sources. Most of them come from New Car dealers, but some come from private party referrals, and every once in a while a car that was traded in by a local customer who’s needs have changed. As a matter of policy, if I don’t have the title AND a history for the car, you won’t see it on e-bay!! Life’s too short to lie, and while one person’s trash …… I’ll try hard to call ‘em as I see ‘em. One of the things that drives me nuts is the following.. Folks buy a car based solely on price, and then take it to a NEW CAR dealer or fancy emporium, pay OVER retail price for parts (IN ONE CASE MORE THAN 4 TIMES THE GOING PRICE!!!!), DOUBLE the going local rate for labor by a quality independent shop and them come back to me feeling that they have been ripped off. New car stores exist to sell and service NEW CARS. If you feel the need to have the “new car” experience, its there for you. Like the “free coffee”, solid mahogany doors to the rest rooms and the fancy carpet in the waiting room are “no charge”??? Just hope you find the one person in the place who actually cares. The Fine Print and other info worth reading: Car is offered FOB Tampa Bay FL. Car is 20 minutes from Tampa Airport and beautiful Gulf Beaches . Winning bidder will get an e-mail with a request for information, followed by an express package with transaction detail and supporting documentation. Balance due within 7 business days via either certified funds, cash on local pick up or wire transfer with proper vetting with the financial institutions on both ends of the transaction. Seller can hold for 21 days at no additional charge while buyer makes shipping/travel arrangements. Please bid with the understanding that the winning bidder has entered into a binding contract to buy the car. Due to the large increase in deadbeat auction winners, by bidding, you have agreed that if you fail to complete the transaction except for those unusual events, you will compensate the seller for the full incurred cost of re-listing the item, plus a service fee equal to 15% of the bid, payable upon demand. I will gladly answer any and all questions via e-mail and you can also reach me at 727-455-8491 from 9:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. eastern time except Sunday.. Please be aware that I am a solo operation, and it will sometimes take a little while to phone folks back, but I do check e-mail at least twice a day, ‘cept Sunday. I don’t use an answering service, I don’t have anyone who “takes care of stuff” for me, and I don’t use a third party listing service. Hate to do it, but because of some less than “stand up” folks on e-bay, I’ve been forced to go to “private auctions” on autos. Florida deliveries are subject to local sales tax and $249 title/transaction fee in addition to winning auction bid and any applicable registration fees imposed by the STATE of FLORIDA. Shipped vehicles are not subject to FL sales tax, but are subject to a $149 transaction fee to cover the costs of moving the documents back and forth and to offset the costs of providing insurance coverage for the vehicles while awaiting shipment. Out of state buyers who require a non-permanent tag to drive the car home must be charged sales tax under FL law. ALL SALES SUBJECT TO THE FLORIDA STATUES AND BUYER AGREES TO STATE OF FL JURISDICTION. ALL LISTINGS CAN BE LEGALLY REGISTERED IN THE STATE OF FL AND CONFORM TO APPROPRIATE FL REQUIREMENTS. By bidding, you agree that these terms will apply to the transaction. If you’d like to come visit, please call for an appointment and directions to our facility. A local buyer can end the auction early by exceeding the reserve providing the reserve has not been met. After the reserve has been met, the auction will not be ended early for a local purchaser. The car is displayed locally but not advertised in any other forum while on E-Bay. Out of state buyers, please contact me for shipping costs to your location at least 24 hours prior to auction close so that I can quote an accurate price as it varies a good bit by car and location, which is not included in the auction bid price. Thanks for stopping by to check out this 1992 Lincoln Town Car Cartier. A nicely kept car. Low 77k miles and recent service. Heavily optioned and ready to drive. Please be patient. There are a lot of photos on this listing so you can see as much of the car as I can show. This is a 1992 Lincoln Town Car Cartier. An AUCTUAL MILES Tampa Bay area car that was traded by an older couple. I can’t say that I’m in love with this, but for what it is it’s a pretty darn nice example of it. With it being an a no rust Florida car, its going to give the new owner decent service . If you’ve owned one of these before, or are a Lincoln person looking to add to their collection on a budget, this could be a ride for you! It was in pretty nice shape when it came to the workshop, and we have taken it to the next level with cleaning, adjusting and checking. It did not need much in the way of mechanical work , as it looks like folks did not neglect or abuse it. Although its been more than a few years, I remember these being a mainstay of the airport “car service” and limo fleets from when I was a “corporate weenie” The fleets would be full of these, and they ran them hard, often keeping them in service darn near 7 days a week and running up 300,000 or more miles. With reliable powertrains and a huge trunk, these were perfect for the job. Today, they are a period piece, and this one will be eligible for the 25+ year plus car shows in just a few months. This one should do pretty well as it is, and with a little extra, its should place in the Preservation Class on a regional basis. The Cartier edition had a large number of standard features and a few optional items, some of which this car has. Has the dual exhaust in addition to standard features such as keyless entry, an upgraded interior, BBS wheels, and a really plush interior. All the options work, from the headlight sentinel to the remote trunk, and everything in between. Original paint, original interior working load leveling, its there. An it is essentially rust free, shiny and runs as it should. Read on for more descriptive information Exterior. Mocha Frost Pearl. It is as far as I can tell the original paint.. A few minor exterior flaws which I have tried to picture in detail. If you can not make them out here is a summary: 1.The clear coat and the chrome strip on the rear bumper have both seen better days. Its one panel of the assembly, and it should be an easy fix. A roll of “Chrome Tape” and an X-acto knife should fix the chrome, and the missing clear coat had not impacted the underlying color of the panel 2.There is a small dimple at the top of the left passenger door, and no paint is missing. Might be a job for a Paintless Dent Removal professional 3.A small scrape on the right front fender right next to the turn signal/side marker light. LENS is fine Otherwise , all of the trim is intact, all of the glass is nice, the lenses are not yellowed or cracked. Looks a lot better than most of what is on the road today that has had its registration renewed a couple of times. .. Take a view of the photos and feel free to ask questions. The Interior. Its all there in its tan leather and cloth split front bench seat , column shifted glory. The dash in uncracked, . The upholstery is in really good overall condition, as are the door panels, headliner, visors and such. All of the interior toys and controls work as they were designed to, and has no funny smells or unpleasant odors. Near as I can tell, there are no signs of heavy tobacco use. If I was going to nitpick, I’d point to the following 1.The radio is a replacement. 2.The driver’s door control switch panel for the seat, locks, mirrors and windows shows a little wear . That’s pretty much it. A little patina on the leather, but it really does not get much better Drivetrain. This is a 4.6 l V8 with a 4 speed automatic. Starts right up, idles smooth, shifts well, stops decently, runs cool with good oil pressure. NO SMOKE, no funny smells. All of the controls work, tracks straight and pretty much does all of the things that its supposed to do. The ride is soft and controlled. I wonder why folks named it “Town Car”, as it is most happy floating down the Interstate, doing 70 with the A/C on eating up the miles at 24mpg. Its by no means a “sports car”, but the V8 has more than enough power to more than keep up with traffic. Folks have put several thousand miles on the vehicle since it came to us, with no funny stuff. A/C and heat work, cruise control works, power windows smooth. And yes, you can see over the steering wheel. I do mostly Volvo, Saab, and VW cars, and those folks are pretty particular so we went over the car’s mechanics pretty closely to make sure it’s a turnkey car for the next owner. In the workshop, it just got a few things to freshen it up for you: •Oil and Filter change. Was due on a time, not miles basis. It has since consumed NO measurable amount of oil. •A fresh set of tires. The old ones were not worn out, but they were aged out. The whitewalls are tough to find!. •A newer battery. The one that came out was old enough to tell you how to work a smartphone, and while it was still functional, I kind of figured it was in the “days are numbered” mode. There were NO stored OBD I codes found when we put it together with an “old school” code tool.. Its got a spare which looks good. Has all of the tools. A full set of keys and Has the books abd a manual for the radio Tires are about 95%, and are date coded well within safety recommendation (low mile vehicles of this vintage often have tires that look good but are 10+ years old) and are all the same brand and size.. Mounted on factory BBS wheels . (These wheels in a different bolt pattern trade for over $200 EACH!) Title in hand. I’ll be putting a few more miles on it over the next week just to make sure I have not missed anything it needs to be the best it can be so we’ve added a few miles to the listing. Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions that I get on my listings: What’s the worst thing about this car? Kind of wish it had a few less miles, and a couple fewer cosmetic flaws, but hey its 25 model years old. Other than that, nothing known that has not been described or pictured in the listing that I am aware of. What’s the best part of the car? It is an inexpensive special interest car that does everything its supposed to do. Could I drive this car back home Can’t see why not. This is a NO Reserve Auction and the starting bid is not unreasonable given the condition of this car. It’s a used car, not an investment in automotive art SO IF YOU ARE REASONABLE, I WILL BE TOO . Vega Front Bumper, M&S Hyper G Side Skirts , Ark Legato Rear Bumper. All bodywork professionally painted and installed. Interior has custom painted center console and accents , again professionally done. Full 2 tone red and black Katzskins Leather seating. Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Weighted Shift knob. Engine mods: Full Turbo Back Exhaust, BTR CC stage 3 tuned ECU. AEM Cold Air Intake. Synapse Synchronic Blow off Valve, Turbo XS V2 Front Mount Intercooler and polished Piping. Wheels: Rhona RC10 Staggered on stretched tires I'm running 275/30R20 on the rear and 245/30 R20 on the front and those tires are again stretched to show the chrome lip. Had the spokes painted in genuine Harley Denim Black factory paint because Rhona only offered them in silver. Suspension : CX V2 Street Coilovers front and back. Fully adjustable Isis Upper and lower front control arms as well as rear camber and toe links. This allows for the car to be lowered yet still keep your alignment perfectly dialed in. Brakes are Brembo front and rear. Headlights: Housings are KDM and were imported directly from the Korea Factory for the build. Over 1000.00 in LED and HID parts installed. Fully plug and play all built into the factory headlights and retains the factory interior controls. Super clean and bright and guaranteed to get peoples attention. Mishimoto DRLs professionally installed into the front bumper. These I had to have an extra switch installed in the dash. Vehicle was listed as total loss/ rebuilt before I purchased it. I'm the second owner and have had it 95% of it's life To my understanding it was front body damage. Obviously not much of the stock body left on this car anyway. Runs and drives without fault. Alignment (the most easily affected and irreparable issue in front end collisions) is perfect and true and have the documentation to prove this. I drive it daily. Obviously if there was something majorly wrong with this car I wouldn't have put about 20k in mods into it. Nothing wrong with the car I am simply ready to start a new project. That's it. I'm in no rush to sell. If you want to talk msg me on here. I'm usually only free on Sundays to show the car if you live local and it definitely is worth seeing in person. I do have this car cross posted for sale and reserve the right to end this listing without notification at any time. Thanks for reading.

This is a beautiful Black with Tan leather interior one 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid with EVERY available factory option, window sticker and both key fobs. This car has been garage kept since I purchased it new in 2012, well maintained and smoke free. This has had all services and an oil change every 3000 miles. The warranty is is good till 2017 or 60K mikes, the drive train warranty is to 100K as are the Hybrid batteries. The battery pack can be purchased on Ebay for around $700.00 if it ever goes bad. This car has never had a warranty issue other than a new steering wheel where the leather started to peel a little. I would grade this car a 9.5 out of 10 with new tires and only 1 small dent in the right A pillar from a VERY high truck door. This car has Navi, power seats, doors, windows and mirrors, it also has the Ventilated and Heated front seats as well as heated back seats and steering wheel. This is a gas sipper getting an average of 32MPG around town and about 40MPG on the highway, it also looks much better than a Prius and has WAY more space inside and eye appeal. I have title in hand and will ONLY do a face to face deal, no liars or strokes. My price is not negotiable as this car is way more than worth it. I will not release the title till I have verified funds in my bank account or cash in hand. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
