This car was originally purchased in Beverly Hills they moved to St Louis around 2002 and traded it in on a new Porsche in 2004. I bought it within the first week it was on sale. So other than a week I am the second owner. IT IS A 1999 PORSCHE BOXSTER. I have always kept it in the garage and I only drove it around town on nicer days. It was never driven in the snow and only in the rain if I was driving it and it started raining. Other than oil changes a couple of batteries and a set of headlights I have never had to do anything to it. The previous owner bought tires for it just a short time before they traded it in. They currently have around 9000 miles on them and still look very good. The good:I do not know of anything this car might need mechanically, it has very good Michelin tires, drives straight, starts and runs as it should, passes Illinois emmisions with no problems, cold air conditioning never had to work on, great heat, shifts good, brakes good, doesn't use oil, does not leak anything, always used the correct Mobil 1 synthetic oil, battery around a year old, top is automatic and works like it should. all electrical items work. No engine fault codes. never wrecked or flooded, No tears to the upholstery, dash looks good. Carpet still looks good. The driver's floor mat shows some wear though, Both front and rear trunks look like new, 2nd owner adult driven, Never abused during my ownership, Basically it is a car with only 47500 miles on it and it drives and feels like it should. All original The bad:I want you to be happy with your purchase so I will tell you what I know about it, Again I don't think it has any mechanical issues at all but it does show some cosmetic wear. The front bumper and hood have some rock chips in the paint. The windshield has a scratch in it which you can see in the pictures. A glass shop may be able to polish it out. It is not cracked. The drivers seat leather is a little lighter where you get in from rubbing on it noticeable but not too bad. Very few scratches around the car, the left front rim has some scratches. The front hood supports are getting weak. I can not think of anything else. It is a very fun car to own and drive. I hate to sell it but I want to buy a antique street rod and need the money and space to do it.
