PARTS CAR Model: Early 1985 Porsche 944 Standard (Non Turbo) VIN: WP0AA0947FN473123 NOTE: Please Read Entire Description Before Asking Questions. This car is represented as a parts car only. It is offered complete at this time. I do not have time to part it out before next spring. The motor was damaged when a belt tensioner failed and went off timing. It will require major repair or replace. No compression in one cylinder, the others don't hold the pressure. It has been sitting in a garage for a few years. Everything was working at one time. Motors for windows, sun roof, hatch lock, antenna, fan, wind shield wipers all work. Head lights do not rotate, hatch wiper motor is damaged. Interior is still good except for a split in passenger seat. New tires mounted, mfg. date: DOT 4607 (Mid Nov 2007.) They have about 200 miles wear. Brakes were all replaced. Body work was done and painted. Have an interior dash cover replacement, not installed, could go into another car. The radio is original (Blaupunkt Model Austin CR45) and plays loud and clear. Almost all of the small, hard to find pieces were replaced. Plus, there are some extra spare parts. The asking price is a low estimate of the value of the parts if I have to sell them off individually and scrap the car. Low ball offers will not be considered. It will only be available as a complete package until 14Dec2015. I have the six volume set workshop manual, printed in Germany in 1989, English version (1706 pages of everything you need to know about the 944), also, a 284 page parts catalog with every part, part number and placement diagram, all on CD. Included is the Haynes repair manual for the Porsche 944, 1983-1989 models. Also, a photocopy of the original owner's manual. I have the actual manual but it had serious water damage and was separated, dried and copied. This car has been babied and cared for since it was specially ordered from Germany in 1983 - has never seen snow, and hardly seen rain.
