This one off 1957 Porsche Speedster Custom Recreation was hand built by a craftsmanpreviously employed by Intermeccanica International and is currently creating custom builtvehicles himself. Showcased in eye grabbing orange metallic Glasurit paint with full tan leather and tan Germansquare weave carpet interior and black Stayfast canvas soft top/boot cover. This recently completed 200 mile recreation is powered by a GeneBerg 1835cc VW Type 1 engine and boasts an unending list of options including a Porsche 911style engine fan shroud, power windows, power door locks with alarm, power retractable Porsche911 style rear spoiler, floor mounted ignition switch with push button start, HID lights, Bilstein shocks,Magnaflow twin pipe exhaust, 4 wheel cross drilled disk brakes, powder coated Porsche 911 wheels,carpeted trunk, shut off switch, Gene Berg Shifter, front bumper with integrated turn signals and drivinglights and rear bumper with integrated Porsche 911 tail lights, back up lights and turn signals.This full tubular frame custom recreation is titled as a 1965 Volkswagen.For those who MUST drive a One Of A Kind! This a very special Speedster Replica build; it is beautifully finished in black paint the body is fitted to a total tube frame with coil over front shocks with Porsche rack and pinion steering. torsion bar rear suspension. The brake system is built with dual master cylinders 4 piston front caliper and Carrera rotors. the rear is single piston calipers and Carrera rotors. The motor is a brand new 2180 type 1 ( not rebuilt) with Porsche 911 fan and dual twin carbs and custom 4 cam style exhaust. the transmission is a Porsche 911 /901 5 speed with new high torque starter and hydraulic clutch. The aftermarket Porsche fuchs are 15 x 4.5 with new tires. The interior is nicely fitted with new carpet in light gray and new seat trimmed in gray. The new Porsche 356 gauges are period correct and a brand new Nardi steering wheel. You could not build a car with these components for anything near this price.
