1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM Up for sale is an immaculate 1989 Pontiac Firebird TRANS AM. This is a true survivor with only 32,688 miles. It has not been toyed with or modified outside of factory specs. It is accident and rust free, and is super clean inside and out. ALL OPTIONS/FEATURES OF THIS VEHICLE OPERATE CORRECTLY AND AS THE MANUFACTURER DESIGNED. Again, this is not a base Firebird… it’s not a stripped-down Formula… it’s not an overweight GTA… and it’s not a grandiose TTA Pace Car. Those of you that are true TRANS AM enthusiasts… you know exactly what you’re looking at. This car boasts the rare black on black option, along with the 305 T.P.I. V8 married to a 5 speed manual transmission… this car is indeed a rare find. Additional features are: - T-Tops with original sun shades, and factory GM storage bag - Top-of-the-line factory AM/FM stereo cassette with 5-band graphic EQ, steering wheel controls, and power antennae - Factory GM floor mats (non-show, black mats are also included) - Rear cargo area privacy screen - All original Owner’s Manuals and a strong compliment of manufacturer and dealer sales literature - Multiple award winning car - Along with general maintenance, the only updates to this vehicle are superficial and have not altered the factory specs… The rear spoiler has been replaced due to the cracking that is very common with the originally installed spoilers. 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I have owned this car for 5 years and have enjoyed it but don't have the time to drive it so i'm passing it on for someone else to enjoy. Car was painted 7 years ago and is in good condition and a great driver. It has some small scratches and a few small rust spots. Powered by a Pontiac 400 cubic inch V8 with automatic transmission, new fan clutch, new Holley 650 cfm double pumper carb, new Mallory coil, Mallory distributer (Breakerless), Davies 10 mm plug wires, Crower "Baja Beast" Cam and exhaust headers. I replaced all 4 tires with Bridgestone Dueler tires 4 years ago and only have 3,000 miles on them. Previous owner installed the 1977 snow flake wheels and a new headliner, carpet, door panels and added one rear leaf to the rear springs. It has a tilt steering wheel and a Sony CD player purchased at Best Buy about 4 years ago and installed in the console and also has the factory AM/FM Cassette radio in the dash but doesn't work.
