Trans Am 455-4-Speed-ONE OWNER Being offered for your consideration is a true one owner ’79 Trans Am. True Pontiac 455, 6X-4 heads, Eldebrock dual plane intake, Headman Headers, SpeedPro pistons, Windage tray, Crane cam, Bosch Platinum Plugs, Accel Wires,-4-core radiator. Stage 8 locking header bolts. Engine rebuilt approximate 6,819 miles ago. This car is not numbers matching. Borg Warner Super T-10, 4 speed transmission. Transmission was also rebuilt approximate 6,819 miles ago. Hurst shifter with original T/A knob. Rear end gears are 3:23 ratio, posi-track. I have all the original paper work including the window sticker, original contract with GMAC, all glove box informational pamphlets. Also have original three volume set of factory shop manuals for this car. And the factory build sheet New in boxes includes, PUI seat covers, PUI deluxe door panels, New carpet, New door-trunk and window seals by Soft Seals. Complete set of decals (gold). New GM door belting and GM threshold plates. New door hinge pins and bushings. New door handles, new drivers door hinge. New GM space saver air canister. New air dam welting. New gold GM arrow head for front bumper cover. and other new items. Also good used items I have collected for this project. Rare rear window louvers with keys, Also included are 4-15 X 8 factory snowflake wheels. Also included is a complete T-Top roof section with Fisher T-Tops. This car was taken out of service approximately 7 years ago. It is however started and moved around on a regular basis. Engine starts and runs smoothly. No cracked glass. The driver’s fender is rusted out behind the air dam due to a leaking battery years ago. I have an original GM replacement fender for that damage. The core support was also damaged due to the same situation; I also have a replacement core support. The car is very solid and only has minor damage here and there.
