Beautiful 1-owner Midnight Blue Metallic 2005 Pontiac GTO, only 4K miles, 400 horsepower/400 lb. ft. torque LS2 engine mated to T-56 6-speed manual transmission, 1 of only 566 built with this color and transmission combination (only 5% of total GTO production), car looks/smells/feels new but has been modified as described below. I ordered this car new and the plan was to make it a track car. I began removing some items not needed for racing but other things came up and this project got sidelined shortly after. Car has been stored in heated garage since then, has never seen rain or snow. Recent business investment opportunity has arisen so one of the toys has to go, unfortunately. Items removed from car: air conditioning system, rear seats, rear spoiler, windshield wiper system, fog lamps, front grilles and smaller interior items such as floor mats, trunk liner, spare, etc. Engine has never been opened up but bolt-on/off mods include NGK plugs, MSD 8mm blue plug wires, AMW intake oil catch can, Optima yellow top battery (mine was one of those that arrived to the US from Australia with a leaking factory battery, a known issue with these cars, so there's some mild corrosion on and under the battery tray), the air box mod everyone does (see LS2GTO.com) with K&N filter, huge factory coolant overflow reservoir replaced with smaller aluminum Moroso catch can, hood scoop restrictors and hood insulation removed, coil covers and strut tower brace have been removed. Transmission CAGS system (skip shift feature) disabled. Car wears factory Holden black-out tail lights and Holden Monaro trunk badge I ordered from GM Australia. Runs/drives great with all of the above, no problems whatsoever. With the weight removal and mild performance upgrades, should be a solid 12-second flat 1/4 mile car. Car has clear title and will come with all factory paperwork including window sticker, 2 sets of keys and roughly a half-tank of gas. Finish my project and make a nice weekend Mustang-beater or put the wipers back in along with a backseat and it's a nice quick low-miles daily driver. One of the classiest-looking color combo GTOs produced, plenty of power and this one has a real Detroit's Woodward Avenue pedigree, unlike 99% of the newer GTOs out there, having done the big cruise in 2006 (along with surprising a few other cars at streelights weekend nights back then). $500 non-refundable PayPal deposit required within 2 days of eBay sale, balance to be paid in person, in cash, upon pickup. Car is sold as-is with no warranty or return/refund option. I cannot ship or assist with shipping the car, sorry, I simply do not have the time, so this is a pickup at my home only deal. I will hold the car for up to 10 days for pickup but after that payment arrangement for storage must be made or I reserve the right to cancel the sale/transaction and re-list the car for sale.
