This RARE 1997 Firebird Formula WS6 is in great condition all around! If you are familiar with f-bodies you know that a formula WS6 is very seldomly seen, especially in this condition and mileage. This car has been babied it's whole life and has never seen rain, snow, winter, and always garaged. I'am the second owner of this car, the original owner walked this car down the line at GM himself and got the top of the line package for that year (still have the window sticker and receipts). This is 1 of 473 produced in 1997. You will have a very hard time finding another Formula in this good of condition. The motor is a 5.7 LT1 with no mechanical issues at all! It has pacesetter longtube headers with magnaflow cat-back exhaust, other than that the motor is bone stock. Since the install of the headers once in a while an error code will pop up(P0400) which is EGR flow malfunction, this is caused from the decrease in back pressure from the longtube headers. However, it has no effect on how the car runs its just something that pops up once in a while when cruising at highway speeds. Attached to the motor is a 6 speed trans with a Hurst short throw shifter, trans and clutch are smooth with no issues. This engine is very strong and a really great handling and driving car. The interior of the car looks brand new and still has a new car smell to it. No tears in the leather, no cracks on the dash, it looks just like the day it came off the showroom floor. The exterior is also in great condition with paint at about a 9.5/10. The paint looks flawless with only minor blemishes, it's hard to believe it's 18 years old. This car has been a great running and driving car with no issues and always turns heads, unfortunately it's time for me to part ways. The pictures hardly do justice for this car and really has to be seen to be appreciated. Up for sale is my 2002 Collectors edition trans am. This car is clean and straight, It runs and drives great, this car is mechanically sound, everything works and it doesn't leak anything. This car is not perfect but i would say its in above average condition for the miles it has on it. The hood is a shade lighter then the fenders, I don't know why that is but you can see it in the pictures, The rear bumper has some spider cracks see pics, The only upgrades the car has is, c6 style wheels with brand new tires (still have the orginal wheels), SLP long tube headers, exhaust and a tune (This was done by one of the previous owners). I have owned 6 f bodies and this is the best driving one I've owned. The seats don't have any rips or tears and overall is in good condition. 80's icon is looking for a caring home! Honestly, I really love this car - it's my EIGHTH Trans Am since 1996. I've enjoyed numerous road trips: Route 66 and twice across the country from Michigan to Southern California and back. I took it too countless classic car shows and enjoyed compliments and thumbs up wherever this car appears. But it's like Huey Lewis sang in the 80's "I want a new drug", it felt it was time to get a new baby and to say Goodbye to my Trans Am. Boys don't grow up - their toys just getting bigger, right? This impeccably cared for, antiseptically clean Trans Am is ready for it's next set of enthusiasts hands to appreciated this rare, mint 80's muscle. Don't keep it hidden in the garage - it was born to hug the road! This Trans Am was assembled on Sept. 29th, 1984 as an early '85 model at the GM Norwood plant in Ohio. Before I bought this Michigan car with less than 31.000 miles, it had been stored by the first owner for more than 15 of it's 23 years in a garage, not running and never saw winter in it's entire life. The second owner just flipped it, the third owner bought this Firebird as a hobby car and only drove it to classic car shows. Because of that, it took a complete technical overhauling to turn back this well kept trailer queen into a flashy 80's Muscle machine: - Brake system new (incl. ER brake cable, wheel brake cylinders, lines now stainless steel) - Alternator new- Starter motor new - Water pump new - Head revised/refined (new GM performance intake/outlet valves, new vacuum line system, head gasket replaced, Rochester QuadraJet carburetor overhauled) - New rear sway bars - Headliner replaced - Transmission mount replaced - Headlights upgraded with stronger H4 conversion kit - Front side markers now clear - All lift supports (hood/hatch) replaced Majority of paint is original, however a few areas showed common factory paint defects (a result of GM's infamous mid-80's quality) that were professionally refinished. The body is clean, no rust, no cracks or fade in the plastic trim. The Concorde inspired dash is in perfect, unwarped shape! For a car almost 31 years old, it looks awesome. More than awesome actually - you don't see this quality level of a car anywhere but in a museum. With the assembly line not quite ready yet for the big '85 model year changes (GM just threw cars together with what was available to keep the assembly line running), the Trans Am ended up being built with a wild mix of two different model years: The restyled '85 body (front fascia, aero skirting, dams, vents, smoked taillights) and dashboard (gauges with new grid pattern design) but with an '84 vinyl interior, WS6 suspension but without rear disc brakes and an L69 "H.O." V8 instead the LG4 engine. The production codes don't match any of the GM records for '84 or '85. This Trans Am is truly unique - you won't find a second one made in this configuration by factory. There is even a handwritten production line note on the inner fender well - of the exact time/date of manufacture - all perfectly preserved. The L69 V8 (4 BBL QuadraJet carburetor, 190 hp with Regular, 210 with Premium gas) is attached to a Turbo-Hydramatic 700 R4 four speed automatic and was totally overhauled in 2014 (no leaks, no smoke). The transmission shifts smooth, the A/C blows ice-cold, everything works including the power antenna and the original concealed headlight motors. The weather stripping and all rubber seals are in good condition, the interior is spotless (non smoker car) with no cracks/tears in the seats, the dash cover has no cracks, the carpet is clean and intact (no holes, no wear through). The original Delco radio still works, the car comes with the rare glass T-Tops and storage bag, even the original floor mats are there. The 235/60-15 Cooper Cobras are in good condition, the 15x7" Diamond Spoke Cross lace wheels are clean and have no scratches. Everything is well documented from the first owner to the present day, the title is clean, the car has never had an accident. Even for current standards, this Trans Am is a still quite a fast car, but also a very comfortable Grand Touring Coupe (I crossed the US twice with this car and enjoyed every mile). I guarantee you'll enjoy the countless compliments (and you'll get a lot, this car is a head-turner and jaw dropper!). No repairs expected, it's 31 yeas old - all you need to do is to turn the key and drive into YOUR 80's paradise. Between 1982 and 1993, Pontiac assembled 313,003 third generation Trans Ams, fewer than 34.000 survive - this is the right time to grab one of the last iconic 80's Trans Am that is already a very rare sight on the streets. With the T-Tops off, the wonderful deep V8 rumble (seriously, this car sounds Badass!) as resonant as any earlier generation Trans Am and handling that will put a BIG smile on your face - you simply cannot find a better 80's connection than this unless you're watching Miami Vice. Find another low mileage 3rd gen Trans Am in this clean, original condition - if you can! Up for sale is my beautiful 1991 Trans Am GTA with 54,000 original, UNMOLESTED and well cared for miles. Excellent condition inside and out. Runs perfect with no mechanical issues whatsoever. No rust whatsoever on any body panels. No dings, dents or any major blemishes. Just one pencil eraser head size chip in the paint on the left rear fender and some minor rock chips behind the wheels on the lower panels. From 5 feet away, you can't see them. The rest of the car is absolutely gorgeous! T-Tops are in excellent shape and DON'T LEAK! The 5.0L 305 V8 runs very strong with no issues at all. It runs flawlessly and burns no oil. No leaks of any kind. No drips either of any fluid. It starts right up without hesitation. The transmission shifts flawlessly as well. No issues at all. All brakes, tires, exhaust, shocks are in excellent condition with lots of life left. Nothing to replace at all. The AC and heat work great. New Delco AC compressor and it blows ice cold! All lights (including the flip up headlights) turn signals, horn, wipers, ORIGINAL stereo/equalizer/cassette deck work just fine. Even the power antenna works great! Absolutely nothing is broken or not working on this car. The interior looks brand new. Looks like a 1 year old car. No fading anywhere. No cracks in the dash. All carpet, door panels, headliner (NOT SAGGING) are in excellent condition. The drivers seat bottom has some slight cracking but very minimal. Looks like the rest of the car was never sat in. The car has no mechanical issues that I am aware of. It drives great with no hesitations in acceleration. It stops on a dime with no pulling. No pulling when driving down the road. No rattles! 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula WS6 Very rare WS6 performance package on a Formula with the desirable Borg-Warner 6-speed manual and dark pewter leather interior. Only 244 WS6 Formulas were produced in 1998 and only 51 had the 6-speed manual and dark pewter leather interior. This car is also one of the lowest mileage examples out there if the lowest with only 1,925 miles! Yes, that is not a typo. Garage kept and in like-new condition. This was the last year for the WS6 package on a Formula, which is rarer, lighter, and quicker than the Trans Am. This package includes the Ram Air hood, performance exhaust, special wheels, and upgraded suspension. The car has very few options except for power seat, traction control and Monsoon stereo system. It does have the standard items of tilt, cruise, power windows, locks, and A/C. I have all of the original paperwork including window sticker, original owners manual and all the of original purchase paperwork. I purchased the car from the original owners who ordered the car new.
