The engine block with the sale is a 455 Engine with its parts (not the original one that came with the car, needs assembly), no transmission included, your choice of automatic or manual. You can come see it anytime. This could be a $25-30K restomod once you are finished. This car could be a beauty and less of these are available of the first generation. Car Show worthy without hesitation. 1989 Pontiac GTA Trans Am - Red / Gray leather - Fully loaded w/ 350 T-Top WS6 suspension set up and the leather interior - 47000 orig. mi - 2 adult owners - I have every piece of paper and service record since new ( see pic ). It is in 100% orig. cond and always garage kept. NO ACCIDENTS. These GTA cars are becoming more difficult to find in top condition. I would use it for Pontiac shows, it is that clean. NO ISSUES AT ALL. * Only aftermarket add on was a Pioneer CD head unit. The original Red paint is exceptional. The moldings, handles, window glass, t-tops, emblems, T-top case, rubber seals and all other exterior features are in superb, orig. condition. The wheels are in great shape and the Goodyear tires are 75%. No cracks or wear on the rear spoiler. Never driven hard and always hand washed / waxed. The exterior is a strong 9.5+ / 10. On the inside, the Gray leather interior still looks, feels, and maintains the newness from 89. As you can see in the pics, the seats are well preserved and the carpet is damage free. The door panels, dash, gauges, center console, faceplates, etc. are not marked. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, antenna, hatch release and lumbar seats work without issue ). The CD stereo sounds great . The engine compartment is edible. The undercarriage is dry and rust free. Inside, it is a 9.75 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles and drives smoothly as a fine tuned auto should. All of the servicing is up to date - fuel injectors, a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals. Of course, the L98- TPI engine has great pick-up and performance. The brakes have plenty of pad left and all of the other mechanical functions are on point. The next owner will be amazed at how many wonderful comments you will get.
