If you are looking for the ultimate second gen Firebird Trans-Am you should stop here. Represented to me and I have found nothing to the contrary 2-owner, original, no hit, numbers car. Purchased new in Texas and at one point shipped to Hawaii when its owner changed jobs and then back again to Texas when position ended- no doubt, a loved car. Purchased by SW at Elite Motorsports and part of his stable of personal cars. It was not in his showroom when I purchased it from him in late 2013. The 455/Muncie/Posi were all stock, along with completely stock interior and trunk as you see now. When I say stock the 8-track is still there and even an uncut rear dash with one speaker (which I have never seen) and still smells like high school. It had undergone an incredible paintjob at a described $15k price tag. The rear leafs and front coils had been replaced with Detroit Speed leafs and front coil-overs along with custom wheels (note sizes in specs). Like all stock big blocks in new emission-era 1976, it lacked power and ran hot in Texas. I spared no expense with Butler, the undisputed Pontiac authority, on a complete package spc'd by them to enhance it. Edel Aluminum heads, a complete Lunati/CC roller cam and valve train, QF billet carb, Edel intake, Doug's coated headers into a stainless exhaust were all professionally installed by Elite. I had the largest Griffin aluminum radiator made that would fit in the stock mounts- it never goes above opening temp. I could go on endlessly about parts and the book of receipts will detail. I wanted it to be streetable, sound like hell at idle and hit like a hammer without hesitation and it does not disappoint. HP & Torque have conservatively been doubled. It retains A/C, runs on premium and will impressive the most stuck up guy in your crew. All adult owned, not raced on street or strip, no track days. I'm the obsessive overprotective guy, the one you want to get a muscle car from. I've tried to answer every possible question with photos and will take any serious buyer for a drive with me behind the wheel.
