No expense spared on this stunning rarely optioned GTX. Paint and body are finished to show quality in the cars original color of "SS1" Sunfire Yellow. Fully sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. Laser straight with excellent gaps and fitment throughout. There is no evidence of any panel replacement on this car, it still retains its original floors and quarter panels. The trunk, door jambs, under hood, and undercarriage paint quality is as nice as the cars exterior. Under the hood resides its #'s matching 440 engine that has been rebuilt and upgraded with a larger cam and Holley carburetor. While the engine appears stock, it makes an additional 75hp from original. Backed by a 727 automatic transmission that is console shifted with a 3.23 sure grip rear end. All suspension components have been rebuilt and detailed. Interior completely restored in its original color of Gold and Black. Nicely detailed Dashboard and console. All gauges work as well as wipers, blinkers, heater, radio, and all interior lighting. A custom autosound stereo with FM and 6 disc CD Changer was added in addition to the stock AM radio. It is nicely hidden with a hand held control panel. Power options include steering and brakes. Rolls on Magnum 500 15" rims and Radial Redline tires. All glass including windshield is original and excellent with barely a scratch anywhere. All new weatherstripping throughout. All Chrome and stainless has been refinished to show quality. This car retains its original Fender tag that decodes the car as restored with all of its Rare and Unique color codes and options. This GTX drives as good as it looks, the extra power is a nice addition, if you floor it from a 20mph roll it will downshift and burn rubber through most of 1st gear. Cold starts are great, a few pumps turn the key and it will start and idle immediately with no feathering of the throttle. All gauges work as well as wipers, blinkers, heater, radio, and all interior lighting. A custom autosound stereo with FM and 6 disc CD Changer was added in addition to the stock AM radio. It is nicely hidden with a hand held control panel. Power options include steering and brakes. Rolls on Magnum 500 15" rims and Radial Redline tires. All glass including windshield is original and excellent with barely a scratch anywhere. All new weatherstripping throughout. All Chrome and stainless has been refinished to show quality. This car retains its original Fender tag that decodes the car as restored with all of its Rare and Unique color codes and options. This GTX drives as good as it looks, the extra power is a nice addition, if you floor it from a 20mph roll it will downshift and burn rubber through most of 1st gear. A two year “rotisserie” restoration was recently completed. There are about 200 test miles on the car since completion. As you can see in the pics the car underwent a complete “rotisserie” restoration. Options added not on the fender tag are; rallye instruments, 383 stripe, right hand sport mirror and replacement of the original 3-speed transmission with a 4-speed.
