1946 Packard Sedan. Just completed and tested rebuilt motor, new wide white wall tires, recent upholstery work. Beautiful hand rubbed, multi-layer dark blue original paint. I just drove it the first 40 miles since we worked on it. It runs beautifully at freeway speeds. It runs nice and cool. This car is virtually rust free. No hint of a smoker ever being in it. The motor still needs to be run-in for another thousand miles or more before you take it any faster. The speedometer goes to 120 miles per hour, but I doubt the car will. Packards were considered to be the most advanced, prestigious cars on the road. I moved to Coronado where I have a two car garage, but I have 5 cars. Some have to go. I can ship this anywhere.

Original Packard Clipper for sale. The motor in my truck needed to be rebuilt, which is unfortunately why I have to sell this cool car in such a good and hard to find condition. Has original 352 ci motor. Motor turns over and was attempting to fire the last time I worked on it. It also has very good compression and should run no problem. Glass is in good condition with the exception of a small crack in one window. Interior is in very good condition. The body is flawless. One rear quarter panel was remade by the high school shop class prior to my purchase. As far as I could see, the car has NO rust.It comes will all of the original chrome trim which is in near mint condition. Comes will all of the motor parts (pumps, starter, brackets...etc) and exterior parts (taillights, trim...etc). This would be a great project for someone looking to give a car that doesn't need intense or expensive TLC the makeover of their choice. Feel free to message with any questions.

He took the car there and the Army talked him into selling it to the Army as a staff vehicle to pick up high level people at the train station such as Werner Von Braun etc. After the war was over, Dick Wetisel who grew up near the bank in LA and saw the car coming and going, tracked the car down by its VIN, and found it was being auctioned by the government . He purchased it and drove it home to Los Angeles from NM. He then started on a 25+ year long restoration. In 1991 Dick Waightnight purchased the car from Wetisel and after finishing the restoration took the car to Pebble Beach and won 3rd in class in 1995. The car was also shown at a CCCA event and awarded Premier Senior National First Prize. The car was then sold to its curent owner in 1996. For sale is a 901 Packard. It is a wonderful senior Packard with a wonderfully running engine and shifting transmission. The car is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition and ready to tour anywhere. The fenders have just been repainted and the running boards have been restored with the correct rubber. All of the hardware has great chrome and everything works. As for the bad, in comparison to the freshly painted fenders, the body does show some age, it polishes nicely but dose have the usual chips and wear marks that you would expect from a previous restoration. The pictures should show the great overall condition of the car.

1941 Packard One-Eighty LeBaron Sport Brougham CCCA 98.25 Score, Showed at Pebble Beach ......please be patient while the many photos load..... One of 100 made with only a handful of survivors left, many estimate to be no more than 20. Showed at Pebble Beach in 2003. Car was judged by CCCA in 2002 and scored 98.25 out of 100 points. This is CCCA senior car #2462 with it's known history dating back to the previous three owners over 25 years. Cosmetic restoration beautifully done in the early to mid 1990's including the extremely rare and correct Riviera interior. The engine was completely rebuilt by the Packard specialists at John Deere in Enquist, Illinois. The car has traveled about 5,000 miles since. Renowned collector known for his fastidious attention to detail, Dr. Rick Zeiger purchased it from it's previous owner in Chicago right around the turn of the century and made several improvements such as completely rebuilding the transmission, fully rebuilding the front end with the use of early style metal pivot points instead of rubber, as well as going through the entire cooling system assuring it's comfort and reliability. A previous owner tells me that the car was absolutely rust and accident free prior to it's exhaustive restoration. If you'd like more information regarding the One-Eighty, please drop me a note or call. Videos below as well as an extensive collection of photos in the slideshow area. Offered for sale is a rock solid unmolested 1929 Packard Custom 8 model 640 Club Sedan. Vin #173418, body# 346-1127. This car was sold new in Minneapolis but has been in dry California and Nevada most of its life. Just out of long term storage since 1971. The fuel system has been cleaned, the Detroit Lubricator carburetor rebuilt with new parts from Steve Babinsky and the car is now running nicely off its original vacumn tank system. The engine sounds very strong, idles well, and starts easily. It will smoke a little when it warms up. The cooling system is working well with a rebuilt water pump. All lights working, all glass good, excellent wire wheels with older whitewalls. The body is very straight, the doors close like a Packard should. The car has been given a quick coat of paint in the original color just to preserve it but will require further paint work. The interior, as shown in the pictures, is all original. It could be used as is with just the front seat recovered and a few repairs, but it is old and quite dirty so would need some effort put into it. It has a nice original club sedan trunk. The trunk rack has been hit and repaired at some point in the life of the car. It is missing only the horn button and the rear seat robe rail. This is an unusual opportunity to buy a handsome closed Packard in a rare body style. Clear California title in my name. Happy to help with overseas shipping. Please call Chris Bock for further details at 530-400-0540

This Custom Super 8 was designated a CCCA Classic by the Classic Car Club of America and was primarily designed by the renowned Howard "Dutch" Darrin. It has a strong 356 Cu Inch straight 8 making 168hp and is 7 inches longer than a Packard Standard 8. The paint is very presentable and has excellent chrome. The body has no dents and few scratches. There is cobwebbing in a couple of places as shown in the photographs. The interior is mostly original except for a renewed cloth upholstery and a renewed parcel shelf. The headliner is full of moth holes in front. The dash is original so it's tired but the gauges are bright and readable. It has a good working Overdrive but no Electromatic Clutch. The transmission shifts easily and appears to be in good condition. All of the lights and gages work, as well as the radio and heater. It has the original cloisonne crested hubcaps. My Classic Car mechanic says that this is one of the most "complete" cars he has run across. The car comes out of a long stored and dusty barn and the photos show it.Payment by cash or bank transfer and shipping easily arranged.

few defects in the paint or body. Small scratch has been touched up on the drivers side lower fender and there is a bit of bubbling paint at the bottom corner of the drivers side door. Chrome and trim is in good shape, one small spot of rust on the passenger side center trim and the trim along the running board is slightly dented in places. Grill is in great shape with the exception of some worn paint (likely original). Rear windows are delaminating slightly but no other cracks or damage to the glass found. Interior The interior of the car is in wonderful shape. The upholstery shows no damage and wood trim looks fantastic. Original knobs, steering wheel and rearview mirror show age but are in nice shape. Rear window seal is showing its age and a small amount of staining can be seen in the headliner above the passenger door. Rear board in the trunk is sagging and could use some attention. Mechanical Engine starts easily and runs incredibly quiet and smooth as to be expected from a straight eight. Manual transmission shifts well and factory overdrive shifts as it should, the overdrive indicator light on the dash is working and is a nice touch. Brakes, suspension and steering are in good working order with no surprises. Temperature gauge in the dash is not working, an auxiliary gauge is mounted down below. All other gauges are working, clock unfortunately is not. This is a beautiful car with great presence, it is a joy to drive and with the overdrive can actually cruise at freeway speeds without trouble. Central Valley Classics Classic Restorations & Cars For Sale Fresno, California Helping people buy their dreams for over 20 years We are proud to offer this special vehicle for auction! GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING! 1947 Packard Custom Super Clipper 7 Passenger Touring VIN - 2151-3507 Original 356 ci. Inline 8 cyl. Engine Original 3 Speed Manual Transmission w/ Overdrive Electromatic Clutch Packard Blue Car Original upholstery & Carpet Rear Jump Seats Front & Rear Radios Factory Fog Lights Factory Back Up Lamp Body By Henney This is one of the nicer 47 Packard Custom Super Clipper's you'll find, very original and mechanically sound. If your looking for a Packard for your collection, this may be where the search ends The car was originally sold in Buffalo New York to a banker from Ohio as these weren't as easily found when they were new and he had 5 children. There is a pretty interesting narrative of the first owner history written by his son some years ago that goes with the car. There are also maintenance records from the original owner. The car was sold to several other owners including a former President of Packards International, who owned it in the 80's and 90's. He called me last year and we talked about this car. I was told it was repainted and chrome restored while he owned it and was featured on pages 184-189 in the book "Packard the Pride", as well as on the cover of several magazines. I was also told it was judged at a national Packard event 1989 and scored 96 points where it took first place in class. As far as the Body, it was repainted with a lacquer paint, not the same as original but it was you could still get lacquer paint. The chrome is in excellent condition, the pot metal parts have a couple of very minor blemishes and the stainless trim is very good. The panel alignment is great, the doors will all close themselves as designed. The glass is all good with the exception of 2 vent windows showing some delaminating starting. There are a few chips from being driven and the very bottom of the drivers rear door has a couple of blisters, they've been there since he bought it in 2001. It has several rare factory options such as the fog lights, back up lamp, window rain guards and exhaust deflector. It has the beautiful Firestone reproduction tires, ruby center hubcaps and matching front plate to finish off the elegant appearance. Mechanically it has been serviced regularly and everything functions as designed except for the clock. The clutch was replaced Dec. 2012 with new seals in the transmission at the time. The master cylinder was replaced when it was discovered being the wrong one when the clutch was replaced. The speedometer wasn't working because of a bad cable so it was replaced and the head was rebuilt at the same time. The car showed 42K miles when it stopped working so it was rolled ahead to 47K when rebuilt by figuring his average use multiplied by the number of years it wasn't working so it should be real close. The valves were ground several years ago and new head gasket installed. The Electromatic clutch was serviced this year for a bad governor and adjusted. The temperature gauge was rebuilt this year also and the intake/exhaust gaskets were replaced including new studs in the block. The car drives excellent, the clutch will operate itself for shifting, the overdrive engages smoothly and drops out perfectly for passing and it idles so quiet you almost can't hear it running standing next to it. The exterior of the car is very nice, it has an older paint job that was laid over a perfectly straight body, it shines well and only has a few small spots that have started to check a little. The chrome and stainless trim show very well, there are some small pits on the handles and other cast parts as expected on a car that is driven. The panel alignment is as it should be and I couldn't see any indications of rust issues or any prior collision damage. The glass is beautiful, no scratches and only a few tiny pits in the windshield. There are several factory accessories, factory fog lights, reverse light, wind deflectors and the exhaust deflector that are very seldom seen on this model. In fact I was told this car is the only one known to have these fog lights and the widow shades. The tires are just a few years old and look almost new, the car is garaged of course. The wheel covers are near perfect. All exterior lights work perfectly as does the horn. The interior is very presentable, almost everything is original right down to the carpet. The cloth on the front seat back. There is some wear on the drivers armrest but it's minimal and the drivers side of the carpet has some discoloration from shoes over the years. The rear seats look almost new and the headliner is in very good condition. The faux wood shows well on the dash and doors. The steering wheel has a few small cracks developing but nothing serious, still very presentable. The horn, turn signals and both radios work well. All of the dash lights work, all of the gauges as do all the switches. The windows roll up and down as they should and vent windows work well. The only other item not functioning is the clock but it's still right twice a day. The car has NO rust issues, I've spent time under her and found nothing other than light surface patina. The car was sold new back east but definitely was well cared for because I know what cars that aren't look like since I'm originally from WI. I think I've covered everything, but it's possible I missed something. I tried to show everything in the pictures and have additional pictures so send me your email address if you want to see something in more detail. The car is close by my shop so I can get any other pics you need if I don't already have them. There is no Buy-It-Now, if you want to bypass the auction process please make an offer I can submit to the owner for approval. If your offer is acceptable a Buy-It-Now can be added for you, many of the auctions I do are completed that way. There is no interest in any trades, the owner is has more cars to keep up than and is reducing his collection currently. He has owned the car over 12 years now, he doesn't need to sell it. I welcome inspections, the car is in Clovis, CA, close to my shop and can be viewed by appointment. The winning bidder will receive clear title California title for the car, the historical license plates and all the service records and owner history he posses. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person after we have received funds. This car is located in Clovis, CA. Terms and Conditions Of The Auction The winning bidder agrees to provide a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction, the balance is due within 7 days. The balance is to be paid through a bank transfer. Please don't bid if your funds are not readily available, if you are applying for a loan please give the bank ample time for an inspection. The auction is to purchase a car, the winning bidder is entering a contract to purchase this car and not to look it over after the purchase, please arrange any inspections before auction end. I bought this 1941 Packard model 110 project and I have done some work on it, but now I'm moving out of state soon and I can't take it with me. The entire running train is original. The straight 6 engine runs good and doesn't smoke at all. The original radiator should be replaced. The clutch, trans, and rearend are good. It has a new master cylinder and the wheel cylinders and brake shoes are very good. The brakes work good as well as the emergency brake system. The window glass is all new except for the rear window which is ok (no delamination). Rubber seals on some of the windows need replacing. The tires are good and the wire spoke wheels (Truespoke aftermarket wheels) are true (they're concentric and don't wobble). The car is missing the speedometer drive gear on the end of the speedometer shaft. The headliner, carpeting, and some of the interior needs to be done. The heater blower and heater core are good. The windshield wipers work. The horn works. All of the wiring is done. All of the lights work (headlights-high and low beam), tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, fog lights, license plate light, and interior ceiling light (and the door light switches work). All locks work (door locks, glove compartment, trunk lock) and I have all the keys. It has two Optima Red Top batteries in series in a box in the trunk-it has 12 volts for most things but 6 volts for the wipers and the heater blower. The hood and grille are 40 Ford Deluxe (the hood is fiberglass). It has a switch in the grille which operates a motor which raises the rear of the hood (to safely clear the body). The car has a clear title and is currently registered, although I haven't driven it. If you're interested please come and look at it before you buy. This isn't a show car-it never will be. It has emblems on the hood that say "supercharged" but it isn't supercharged. It is located in Covina, CA. Bring a car trailer to pick it up.

Hello Packard Fans!!!!! Up for Auction I have a California 1955 PACKARD CARIBBEAN CONVERTIBLE 1 of 500 Built. This California Original Black plate Car is number 461 of 500. As you may know these cars are very rare this one has never been restored and is in Original condition with only 66,778 Original miles. This is a two owner car the same family has owned this Packard for 40 Years. This car spent most of its life in a garage indoors in San Francisco California the Original Packard ignition key is in the ignition. The Original paint a three-tone color scheme of White Jade, Turquoise, and Gray Pearl is in good shape for its age. This car was bought from Lee D Butler a Packard dealer here in Northern California in the 50’s by the Original Owner. The car was then sold in 1975 and has been in San Francisco since then. The engine runs good. The Factory 275hp, 352 cubic inch V8 with Factory Dual Quads is still under the hood. This Convertible is unrestored and Rust free. This car will need complete restoration inside and out. There are some minor dings and a dent on the front bumper. There are two small holes in the truck lid from a removed AAA emblem. The horn rim is broken we have an extra one that goes with this car. An extra wing window assembly goes with this car as well. The power seat and Power top works good. There is a small hole in the top the size of a penny. The seats are showing a lot of wear, the seams are split where they were stitched. This car has been sitting for many years however it was just driven 90 miles to its new home in Oakdale CA from San Francisco recently. The transmission seems to be fine after the car warms up. When the car is cold the Transmission doesn’t engage very well mainly in reverse. The power windows all work but there is one switch on the 4 way that doesn’t work. The passenger window needs some help when powering it up and down. The chrome has some pitting inside and out. The Rear Power antennas do not work. The brakes work fine. The tire tread looks fine, but these are old tires and should be replaced in the near future. This Packard could very well be one of the last unrestored Convertibles left and to top it off it’s a true Rust Free California car. Please don’t let this one pass you by, you may regret it. This is a very rare 1926 Packard Limousine that was previously owned by the President and Strongman of Honduras. The information on the vehicle is listed below. VIN #: 96824 Exterior: Black and Maroon Interior: Tan Top Grain Leather, Excellent Condition Engine: 6 Cylinder, Original Rebuilt Engine Manual Transmission: 3 Speed Actual Miles unknown: 2609 miles on odometer New Tires Jump Seats Rear mounted spare tire Running Boards Serial Numbers: · Engine: 96996 · Front Axle: D-11555-14 · Steering Serial # : 97194 · Frame serial #: 96965 · Carburetor Serial #: P-5882 · Clutch and transmission serial #: 97049 · Rear Axle Serial #: 96870 History: This vehicle was originally purchased new from Knickerbocker Auto Warehouse, New York in 1926 and shipped to Honduras by General Triburcio Carias Andino, who became President/Dictator in 1932. General Carias used this car for transportation and in 1932, won the election for the Honduran Nationalist Party and took office in this vehicle. The car remained in his family until 1975 when it was purchased by two gentlemen in the USA. The restoration began in 1984. In 1991, one of the partners obtained full control and ownership and finished the restoration in 1994. Since the roads outside the capital city of Tegulcigulpa were not paved until the late 1950’s, the car was used primarily in the small city area, resulting in original mileage of less than 3000 miles. Almost all of the components are original. The paint is to the original Packard formulation. The engine runs flawlessly. The following is a narrative of what was done in the 1994 restoration process: Engine: The engine was completely torn down and rebuilt. It was not necessary to change piston rings, rod bearings or main bearings. All were original and in good shape due to the low mileage. The oil pump is original as is the water pump with new packing. Replaced the cylinder head gasket, replaced the generator and starter. Replaced the wiring system and hand soldered al connections. The seller believes the engine conforms to the original manufacturer’s specifications. Frame: The body was removed and the frame was cleaned and painted. The front axle and springs were removed, cleaned and lubricated. The transmission was checked and found to be working. The clutch was relined. The steering gear housing was disassembled, cleaned, and is in perfect condition. The rear axle was checked and is OK. The drive shaft was replaced. The fuel tank is the original but it was lined to prevent leaks. Brakes: The brake drums are at standard measurement and have never been turned. The shoes were relined and installed new seals. The car has five new correct period tires. All shock absorbers were repaired and function well. Interior: The dashboard instruments, switches, speedometer, etc. are in working order and were cleaned and repaired. The wood grain was redone. The seats, door and headliners have been re-upholstered with finest grade leather. (A Packard authority advised that export vehicles normally had leather upholstery for eye appeal, comfort and to avoid problems with termites in the tropics). Body Restoration: The body was completely restored by a master craftsman in Colorado. Every detail is believed to be original design. Painting and stripes have been meticulously applied using original Black and Maroon Packard paint formulas. Gold leaf used for stripes. The running boards are original metal with new wood, linoleum and moldings. The wooden door frames on the two right hand doors have been repaired (termite damage). All doors have complete windows, mechanisms and handles. All exterior components of the body are complete. The fenders, wheels, etc. were stripped, primed and painted and stripes were applied by hand. The body has very little rust. The head and tail lights are complete. The radiator motometer is complete and functional. All chrome parts have been meticulously re-plated. Current owner history I purchased the vehicle in 2000 from the 3rd owner. I put less than 50 miles on the vehicle, trailering the car to Packard events. After the third year of ownership, I was transferred to Texas and the car was stored for the past 11 years. 2014 Refresh In early 2014, the car required a refresh due to the long period of time it had been in storage. I engaged Aires Restorations to perform the work. They reworked the fuel system, electrical system, repaired the horn and installed 5 new period correct tires. The brakes were repaired and the drums machined. In addition, they re-manufactured and painted the 4 hub assemblies, cleaned and painted the engine, and performed various miscellaneous bodywork repairs, bringing the car’s condition to its current excellent status. Defects: The following are the items that should be addressed to complete this restoration: · Clock: The clock was missing from the instrument panel. After months of searching, I found a replacement clock (not working). The clock needs to be sent out for repair and installed in the dash. A glass cover needs to be found or fabricated to cover that portion of the instrument cluster. (see photos) · Upholstery: There is a very small cut in the front seat and a small defect on one of the jump seats. (see photos) · To be perfect, a replacement for the horn button needs to either be fabricated or located. Currently, there is an aftermarket horn button on the vehicle. Scarcity: The previous owner researched this year and model and have turned up only 2 others, one in Louisiana, and the other in England. Original production was approximately 500 vehicles. This is a true collector car with an historic background and is a fine example of the quality and craftsmanship of the Packard Motor Car Company.
