This W31 option from the factory is rare because beneath the hood lies a V8 350 ci motor that is coupled to a 4-speed Muncie, Posi- traction rear end and 3.91 gears. With these things together in a package it made the 1968 Ram-Rod Cutlass a HP machine in 1968. The 350ci v8 put out 325 stock HP, heavy duty valve springs, Q-Jet carb, larger harmonic balancer, and exhaust pipes and mufflers that were 2 %26Acirc;%26frac14; inlets with 2%26acirc;? outlets which all came stock with the W31 package.
