This 2nd generation first model year Olds was first introduced in 1968, however this particular Cutlass was part of an option package known as the W31. This W31 option from the factory is rare because beneath the hood lies a V8 350 ci motor that is coupled to a 4-speed Muncie, Posi- traction rear end and 3.91 gears. With these things together in a package it made the 1968 Ram-Rod Cutlass a HP machine in 1968. The 350ci v8 put out 325 stock HP, heavy duty valve springs, Q-Jet carb, larger harmonic balancer, and exhaust pipes and mufflers that were 2 %26Acirc;%26frac14; inlets with 2%26acirc;? outlets which all came stock with the W31 package. This enamored Detroit Muscle car draws attention due to its perfect lines, determined look, and classic muscle car sound. This particular being the Holiday line which means it%26acirc;??s a true hardtop car in other words there is no window pillars. This adds to the nostalgia of the car considering they do not make cars this style any longer. Roll down all four windows and a huge gaping hole opens in the middle of the vehicle giving everyone complete and unobstructed views. The other thing that 88 has that they don%26acirc;??t make anymore is the very popular 455 Rocket under the hood. These motors got the rocket name for one simple reason, mash the gas and the sky\'s the limit as the 350 LB torque propels this land yacht to the moon, figuratively speaking of course. With the car showing less than 60000 actual miles this American icon has just began to get broken in. This car left the factory with the plush brown leather that you see before you. The matching tan vinyl top looks as good as it did when it left the factory.
