I bought this car a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving it but alas living in New York City, it's simply impractical for me to hold on to it and leaving it up you to give it a new home. It's really fantastic on the open road and a pleasure to drive. The 5.7 Liter 350 starts up with no problem and drives fantastic. To the best of my knowledge I'm the 3rd owner and the 18,500 mile are original. It has always been garaged kept. It was repainted by the previous owner a few years back but the all white interior with black carpet is original. A new top was installed one year ago and a full tune up was done back in April. The battery is less than a year old. The original owner decided to add fender-skirts and the continental kit giving it a unique look that really makes it stand out in a crowd. I had a 3 inch lift kit and shock extenders installed to the rear of the car to compensate for the additional weight added by the rear continental kit. I added some modern touches by installing a remote door lock opener and passive alarm system as well as a back up camera with a monitor that piggy-backs on to the original rear view mirror. Well folks here it is, a beautiful 1987 Olds Cutlass Supreme one of only two years that come factory with the sought after euro front end setup .This car is a true survivor ,purchased abt.3 years ago years ago from an older couple, it had been properly stored away in an under house garage for over 15 years! I purchased the car on the spot, put a battery in it ,and drove it home. Over the last couple of years I rebuilt the complete suspension, springs, shocks, bushings u name it .I had also did a complete exhaust system brakes, rotors ,shoes, pads, calipers, hoses, cylinders etc... This vehicle is mechanically pristine!!! The v8 307 is smooth and strong, transmission shifts beautifully, stops on a dime. It also drives like sitting on a cloud as these cars did straight form the factory. All options work as the should including super heat and ice cold a/c. No issues.The only reason I am willing to part with this one is because I was lucky enough to puchase a 83 Hurst olds 442 last week. Buy the car and drive home cross country ,No problem! Engine runs well, but car needs some repairs. I love this car and would love to keep it I don't have the time to fix it up myself. The main problems are: power steering leak, so no power steering right nowneeds alignment and steering adjustmentthe two back power windows are not working. The retainer clips in both are broken. The right window needs a new regulator. the check engine light came on right before it needed inspection in October. Says it needs a new oxygen sensor. temperature is running a bit high after replacing head gasket and LIM gasket. Might just need more bleeding. normal wear to the interior, needs some attention (e.g. roof liner sagging, leather on driver's seat cracked) This was my regular vehicle until I couldn't get it inspected in October (because of the check engine light). It's a good project for someone who has the means and time to give it some TLC. Sale will include Haynes manual, two new rear calipers, and recent recall letter for something involving the ignition.
