here is 1 of 53 built in 1973 . Doctor olds omega built in 1973 at the van nuys plant in california. it has the olds 350 rocket 4 barrel with 3 speed manual shift transmission and posi rearend. the car is a extremely solid montana car that has zero underbody rust. the floors and rails and trunk floor are like new. the car will need very very minor metal work on the quarters and i have full quarters included in the sale. the door bottoms are cherry. the 350 rocket was rebuilt and this car runs very very strong. it is a absolute blast to drive and would be awesome and easy to slide a 4 speed muncie in it. under the valve covers of the engine " like new". the car needs a good paint job and some interior work, but is a very very cool rare solid car . have a clear /open new york state title in hand from the guy i bought it off of. will assist in loading, car runs and drives great. as-is sale ask any questions. passenger side is in identical condition to drivers side. car can stay on my property until spring if need be. 71six, 243fiftytwohundred. here is the article-----------1973–1974[edit]First generationOverviewProduction1973–1974Body and chassisBody style2-door coupe 3-door hatchback 4-door sedanLayoutFR layoutRelatedChevrolet Nova Pontiac Ventura Buick ApolloDimensionsWheelbase111 in (2,819.4 mm)The Omega was one of 3 X-body Chevrolet Nova clones introduced in 1973 (the Buick Apollo being the other one; the Pontiac Ventura was introduced in 1971). Naturally it shared the Nova's body and many of its mechanicals, but it had its own unique nose and tail, and, being an Oldsmobile, it had a little fancier trim than the Nova. It even borrowed the Nova's dashboard, but Olds added woodgrain trim to it for a more upscale look. The front grille sported Oldsmobile's trademark split "waterfall" grille design, round headlights set into square recesses, and parking lights directly below in the bumper. Body styles mirrored that of the Nova, starting with a 2-door coupe, 3-door hatchback or a 4-door sedan.1973 Oldsmobile Omega BroughamEngine choices were the standard Chevy-built 4.1L (250 cid) I6 with a 3-speed manual transmission standard, with a 4-speed manual or a 2- or 3-speed automatic optional. The lone V8 option was Oldsmobile's 5.7L (350 cid) "Rocket" V8, which had a 4-speed manual as standard with the 3-speed automatic optional. V8 models with the eight VIN digit being the letter "K" received a 4-barrel Rochester carburetor. All other V8 engines received the standard 2-barrel version. There were also 53 Doctor Oldsmobile Omega's built in 73 all with vin code KL3 All were built in Van Nuys California and were sold at Century Oldsmobile in Van Nuys California. This option was canceled in 1974 and Oldsmobile redesigned the omega and added the S option and also a base and upper-level Brougham. Not many changes at all in 1974 other than the 2-speed Powerglide transmission being dumped, the parking lights being relocated inboard below the grille instead of the headlights and a new rear bumper design which met the federal government's new 5-mph impact standards. There would be an all-new Omega in 1975.1975–1979[edit]

here is a super super cool hatchback olds omega project car. it only has 47,000 original miles and has some very cool options like high back bucket seats, full console with auto shifter, power disc brakes, 305 small block chevy engine with turbo 350 trans, fold down rear seat, these where actually real nice for camping in the back if you got the special tent GM offered for them. the interior is amazing with only a split on the drivers seam, the dash is perfect, alll the gauges work, car has new brake lines, gas lines, and new gas tank. car has nice glass, with nice trim, i have original owners manual, and title from the guy i bought it from. title is open for new registrants signature. i bought this as a project, never finished it and i just dont have a shop to work on it anymore. the car starts right up and purs like a kitten, issue is that there is water in the oil and oil in the water, not sure if it blew a head gasket or something. it will run like a dream till it gets hot and then it blows the upper rad hose. i really did not care because i have a perfect running 4 bolt 350 i was going to install in place of the current 305. anyways the 350 can be bought for $500 extra if you want. the trans shifts perfect. the body has had ametuer body work performed, but the rails trunk floor and floor pans are good and original. the quarters and door bottoms have been replaced , but they will need work for sure to make them right. the car has so much potential even with the very cool interior and sbc engine. i want someone else to enjoy it . asking a very fair $2500 or best offer. will assist in loading it for transport reasons. car does run fine for about 2-3 minutes enough to load it for sure. cashiers check or cash for balance due within 3 days. i can immediately mail the title once payment is clear. good luck.
