Up for sale is a 1990 Nissan Skyline 'R32' GT-R. The previous owner of this vehicle preferred white (#WV2 - Sparkling Silver) over the original #KG1 - Jet Silver Metallic. The paint was not cheap and it was a full remove and install (R&I). The engine bay was kept its original flat black as it was when it came out of the factory with KG1 paint code. All mileage history pertaining to the Odometer reading is recorded and in our possession for verification / proof. The car has absolutely no rust, no damage, no engine oil leakage, transfer-case or rear diff leaks. The previous shop owner had a BNR34 in paint code #WV2, and so once he sold that off, he turned to his R32 GT-R and so wanted the same color scheme. All moldings, front and rear glass have been changed. The rear glass is a NISMO rear wiper-less glass. All side windows and glass have been replaced. The front driver-side and passenger-side door panels have been replaced and so have the moldings on it and around it. All GT-R's have a design defect which has a white piece holding the door molding that captures dust and residue over time which can cause deep scratching of the glass, for this reason, the shop owner replaced that out as well.Furthermore, it does not smoke at startup, nor does it have any bluish white color when revving as you can see by the video below. With each Skyline, it is becoming less and less to find quality graded vehicles such as the one listed for sale here. NISMO and the standard Nissan GT-R's share exactly the same interior parts, except for the speedo, which in this car is a NISMO 320 km/h as a factory option. ?1990 NISMO NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R? Up for sale is a NISMO Nissan Skyline GT-R. This version of the Skyline was apart of the Group A campaign in 1990. Due to strict Group A homologation rules, Nissan was required to also sell a series of the Skyline GT-R which more accurately reflected the car they use in Group A racing. This series was called the Skyline GT-R 'Nismo' edition. This version of the Skyine GT-R 'Nismo' was introduced on 22 February 1990, has a total production of 560 units as required for the "Evolution" models regulation (over 500). Only 500 of the cars were sold to the public, with 60 being held by Nissan to turn into race cars. Its purpose is to homologate a number of aerodynamic changes used in Group A racing. Changes include additional ducts in the front bumper to improve airflow to the intercooler, a bonnet lip spoiler to direct more air into the engine bay, and an additional boot lip spoiler to provide more downforce. The 'Nismo' GT-R was only available in Gunmetal Grey. The vehicle being sold here was not used as a workhorse, but rather kept as a backup which was later sold back to the public after they discontinued Group A. With each Skyline, let alone a rare piece of history that made this car the legend it has come to be known throughout the world, it is becoming less and less to find quality graded vehicles such as the one listed for sale here.
