A mild refreshing as our Murder Edition Cougar, brought out the beast hidden in evening attire. For a very few years, the Cougar was the luxury edition of the Mustang. Offered with upgraded trim and a longer body, the Cougar shared the basic mechanicals of the Mustang. Along with making it easy to upgrade with plentiful parts, the Cougar has become the go to choice for those wanting something different while enjoying the familiar. Born with this very 351 engine and an automatic transmission, she had been treated to an engine rebuild and fresh flowmasters before coming to us. Zero rust and solid throughout, she was ready for a mild update. Triple black, driver quality clear coated two stage paint give clues to her bad intentions. Her body is taut, straight and solid, and has been color sanded and buffed to a high sheen. Her mechanicals are strengthened and ready to pounce. With serious HP and a Posi Rear end, she sounds bad ass and can back it up. Fresh tint, a stance slam and 17” Mach 1 wheels complete the sinister look. Many of these 60’s Muscle cars have succumbed to myriad transformations over the years, leaving them oddly familiar replicas of their former selves. MC has had her first nip, tuck and color at 47 with updates that make practical sense but still allow the driver to feel and know 1968. No wild enhancements and you won’t find any sensors or other modern tracking devices here. Beautiful and clean 1986 Model 951 (944) Turbo coupe. All Original.... I'm the second owner of record but there was a dealer in between me and the original owner that titled it in his car company's name but as for driver/owners, there were only two. Car is originally from Oregon and then came to me in Southern California. It's 100% rust free and has a very straight body. Interior is a 9.5 with no rips or tears as seen in the photos. Dash has a crack but not unsightly and can be repaired with the aftermarket form fitting cover. All the glass is great without any chips or cracks. Rubber gaskets around the windows also very good condition. Headlights go up and down without a flaw. Also has a new tailpipe section with new OEM hangers. Original owners manual included. It has been repainted on the left rear quarter but no "Bondo" or heavy repair. Sunroof works as expected...Photos say it all... Tires are almost new Toyo Proxes TPT Front 205/55/16, rear 225/55/16, mounted on original wheels with no curb rash. Brakes are 75% or better, rotors good. Very fast car that glides down the road. Clutch and shifting is also nice and smooth...what you'd expect from a well taken cared of Porsche. Many out there have 5+ owners, some race cars drivers... This car is just nice.....
