I bought this rig intending to convert it to a Diesel, but found another make and model of off-roader with factory Diesel engine to better use for exploring. .I Am only selling because I need the cash right now-my loss, your gain. The engine was rebuilt and the head machined at some point no too long ago. It does get up and stay with traffic on the highway. It is also a pretty capable 4 wheeler. This one has the Mighty Max 2.6 liter inline 4 cylinder that later helped power many Dodge/Chrysler minivans. I installed brand new mud and snow tires just within the last 800 miles or so. The only issues with it are the rust spots around the windshield frame and the road rash from a life spent behind an RV trailer, some missing maintenance records, and that it has no A/C. Other than that this little vintage beauty with the shiny chrome bumpers is all set to dIt ad This one has power windows, power brakes (et,c), and the suspesnion driver's seat among other comforts and amenities. I have clear title from the second owners who took possession in 1987. It is up for sale with low reserve, so bid early, bid often. And most important, bid like you mean it and bid to win.

For sale by owner: Ultimate Swamp/ hunting truck. 1987 Mitsubishi Montero 4x4., 0.0 miles on reconditioned motor. Starts on first turnover, runs, will climb up anything. No frills, wash and go interior. Tons of KC lights. New custom OD green and black paint scheme. Very dependable and tons of fun. 35x12.5x15, plenty of ground clearance, functional snorkle, custom roof rack- easily detachable. New radio, no A/C. All mechanic work completed 10/10/2014: Brand New battery, new piston rings and bearings, valve job, gasket and seals, rebuilt Weber Carb, removed jet valve and installed jet valve eliminator kit, new ignition coil, distributor cap and rotor button and wires, throttle cable, new power steering bracket, slave cylinder, fuel pump and fuel filters, new fuel lines, new alternator, new starter, differentials and transmission and transfer case 100% serviced all fresh new lube.
