It then embarked on a complete and thorough restoration with no stone unturned. The addition of a period supercharger was added to bring a reliable rise in both horsepower and torque figures. A 3.9:1 differential from a 1964 MGB handles power distribution. The braking comes from the MGA’s original front disc brakes and the addition of larger MGB rear drum brakes.
