This is a customer's British Car For Sale: 1979 MG Midget (Canadian): British Racing Green VIN# GAN6UM227574 Mileage: 70,400 KM The overall condition of the car is very good, it has been maintained and driven on a regular basis. There are no body problems including rust or collision damage or major welding repairs. The paintwork is BRG the original colour of the car. Bright-work, lights, mirrors and bumpers are in good condition. The convertible top is a good tight fit with no rips or tears. The plastic windows are a bit clouded. It comes with a black tonneau cover that is in very good condition and hardly used, but due to the Roll Bar cannot be used . It also comes with a top boot cover again in very good condition. The engine has the original single Stromberg carburetor. The pollution air pump and pipe work has been removed. It starts and runs well the choke working correctly. It has had new front shocks, new rear shoes and a new master cylinder and new front wheel bearings fitted. The king pins and suspension parts are in good condition with no play. The interior is clean and in good condition with no rips or tears in any of the panels. The seats have seat covers and are to be in good condition. The car drives well, brakes and steers as it should with no undue rattles or noises. This car comes with an Ontario Safety Certification as “Certified”. This is a customer's British Car For Sale: 1975 MGB White (Canadian): Mileage: 90,180 KM The overall condition of the car is average (it is a bit scruffy). The body has had repairs to the Dog Legs and Rocker Panels though the Castle Rails are original and solid. The floors have also been replaced, unfortunately by flat sheet metal rather than the correct floor section. The Doors shut and open without hitting the door post. The paintwork below the rubber strip (rather than chrome) is mismatched though white. The convertible Top is tight with the rear frame bar is not sewn in place. All the bright-work is good and the bumpers are not damaged. The interior is also scruffy with scuff marks and some tears. The engine has the original Stromberg Carburetor fitted though the pollution air pump and pipe work has been removed. The Engine bay has been painted black. The car runs and drives well with everything working as it should. Despite being scruffy with some dubious repairs it is a good starter car as reflected in the price.
