This car has been in my family since it was almost new. My father bought it with less than 3,000 miles on it. The car was in San Jose, California--always stored in a garage--until 1997, when I transported it to my home in Columbus, Ohio. Since then, it has been driven less than 1,000, only in the summers, and always garaged--never taken out in the winter. There is no serious rust on the body or frame. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, the transmission and drive train, including differential, all seem to be in fine shape. It is equipped with factory air conditioning but that is not working now. This would be a great car to restore--no serious rust and everything except the radio and the mufflers is stock. A full restoration would require minor body work, new paint (and pin-striping if one wanted to match the original), new headliner, new carpet, new front upholstery, new weatherstripping around windows and some other detail work. I have a few spare/replacement parts that will go with the car: new front disks/hubs (not needed now, I bought them for the future), a replacement taillight, a replacement light sequencing unit, and a few other items.
