Super low mileage for it's age!!! Sporty, fun to drive, great on gas and hatchback makes it practical if you need to move something or throw a couple bikes in the back! B&M short throw shifter. Original stereo speakers replaced with Polk Speakers. Sunroof currently does not work. New Motorcraft Alternator 2013. New accessory belt. New rear brakes and struts. Cooper RS-3a performance all-season tires have about 15k miles on them....very good condition. Car has a little rust around rear wheels....and looks like some is starting under driver's door. Had some rust repaired above windshield and repair work has popped out. Emergency brake won't release completely after use (the adjuster on these tends to pull adjustment all to one side.....) Check Engine light on due to lack of complete seal of gas tank filler tube.

I purchased it from my father in law about 25 years ago. Car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage. Car has 60,525 original miles. Paint is great for the age and has been regularly washed and waxed. Original pin stripes are still intact. You really have to see the car in person to believe the outstanding condition. This car has been in my family since it was almost new. My father bought it with less than 3,000 miles on it. The car was in San Jose, California--always stored in a garage--until 1997, when I transported it to my home in Columbus, Ohio. Since then, it has been driven less than 1,000, only in the summers, and always garaged--never taken out in the winter. There is no serious rust on the body or frame. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, the transmission and drive train, including differential, all seem to be in fine shape. It is equipped with factory air conditioning but that is not working now. This would be a great car to restore--no serious rust and everything except the radio and the mufflers is stock. A full restoration would require minor body work, new paint (and pin-striping if one wanted to match the original), new headliner, new carpet, new front upholstery, new weatherstripping around windows and some other detail work. I have a few spare/replacement parts that will go with the car: new front disks/hubs (not needed now, I bought them for the future), a replacement taillight, a replacement light sequencing unit, and a few other items.
