You are bidding on a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 4 door sedan with 86,387 original miles. I am the third owner. The first two owners were within the same family. The father purchased the car new in Florida in 1995 and sold it to his daughter in 2009 with 39,000 miles on it at that time. He had the car Ziebarted when new and there is no rust on the car whatsoever. I have included a photo that gives an example of what the corners of the doors look like. Everything is clean and rust-free. You can also see some of the Ziebart rubber plugs in various photos. This car is extremely clean. I have seen plenty of one-year-old cars that don't look this good, let alone ones that are coming up on being 20 years old. This car does not have the dents, scrapes, scratches, etc, that are typical of vehicles these days. It has been driven carefully and has received excellent care. I have also included a photo that shows an example of the cast aluminum wheels. They are all in beautiful condition, with no curb rash or corrosion. The tires are about a year old and they have almost as much tread as brand new. This car has hot heat and the air conditioning can freeze you right out. The 4.6 liter V8 is smooth and quiet and the gas mileage approaches 24mpg. Everything works as it should and the headlights are not even yellowed. The windows on the driver's side need a little assistance going up and down, but that's the only issue. Only two modifications were made since this car left the factory. An excellent Kenwood aftermarket stereo was installed and the windows were modestly tinted to help with the hot sun these days. All of the carpet is very clean and I obtained a set of NOS Ford factory vinyl floor mats in matching Willow Green to keep it that way. The buyer will also receive the set of carpeted floor mats that are also clean. The leather seats are completely clean and there are also no cracks or splits. They have been treated regularly with Mother's leather conditioner and the buyer will receive the latest bottle to go along with the car, which is still nearly full. The trunk is completely clean and the original fifth matching cast aluminum wheel and spare tire are clean and have never been used. The cargo net is in place in the trunk and is also like new. There is also an auxiliary release (pictured) inside the trunk for the fuel filler door, should the electric button on the driver's door ever fail. For those of you who do not care for anti-lock brakes, this car came from the factory without them. The 1995 model year was also the last year for the conventional intake manifold, so you will never have to worry about a composite intake manifold failing as has happened in many 1996 and newer versions of these cars. There is no sun damage on this car. The dash has no cracks whatsoever. The paint has absolutely no fading, or peeling of the clearcoat. The only reason why I am selling the car is that it is now an extra vehicle and I don't need it. I could use the extra room in my garage. The car has its complete original owner's manual pack, including the card with the code for the keyless entry. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you see anything in the photos that you believe is a defect, rest assured that it is only a photographic effect from sunlight and shadow, reflections from trees and walkway railings, etc. This car will definitely not disappoint you. It's one of the best I've seen and is also at the time when it will be eligible for inexpensive classic car registration and insurance at 20 years old. On any hot day when the car will be outside at all, I open a window part way so that the interior will not heat up too much. Payment is to be in the form of cash, cashier's check, or personal check, but all funds must clear before the car will be released. Shipment is at the purchaser's expense, but I will gladly fully cooperate with any shipper's schedule. The car can remain here for as long as necessary after it's paid for, at no additional charge.
