This is a great looking car in person. This low mileage vehicle has been well taken care of. The engine bay looks clean and the engine purrs like new. A few minor imperfections as should be expected on a used car. It has new tires and brakes. It drives like a dream! The Interior is also in very good condition for the year as you can see in the pictures. It has all of the popular options such as power seats, climate control, power windows, locks, mirrors etc . This is a clean, well kept car. It's obvious that the previous owner took great care of this car and it shows. The History This car carries a “rebuilt salvage” brand on the title due to a flood claim. This car had the well known air filter clogging issue at the cowl which caused just enough rain water to get into the floor board on the passenger and damage the rear fuse box. We replaced the fuse box and took care of the issue. Before pictures are here. It has passed the Ohio safety inspection by the highway patrol. The title is no longer salvage but it does have a rebuild brand. It will now transfer and register like any other vehicle. Fees & Taxes The total amount due is the high bid plus our $199.00 title, license and documentation fee and your sales tax. A 45 day temporary tag/registration is included. We collect sales tax for residents of Ohio (rate varies by county of residence) and for residents of Arizona (5.6%), California (7.25%), Florida (6%), Indiana (6%), Massachusetts (6%), Michigan (6%), South Carolina (6% capped @ $300) and Washington (6.5%). I bought this car about 3yrs ago because of the car fax report & how wonderful it had been cared for. I been around benzes every since my first one at age 17. I have owned over 7 of them all being S Class. This is a great car & the only thing was wrong with it when I first looked at it was the air suspenstion motor was making a loud noise whenever it came on But the car never lost it height. I purchased it any way. I bought a brand new air suspension motor & all mounting hardware & the noise dissappeard. This car have not seen snow or rain since I owned it. Its always been garaged & taken well car of. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just bought a 2010 S550. there is nothing wrong with this car I will drive this car around the world at the drop of a dime with not one worry. I don't have time to waste your time or mines on some BS vehicle. I will give you the # of my repair shop & they will tell you when comes to my cars I don't skimp or play around. I bought a set of upgraded HID Projector Headlights & Grill ( $1000,00 ) last year & when people ask me what yr is your Benz?? When I say 2002 they say no way it looks like a new on. My neighbor said the 2002 looks better than the 2010 that made me madd. Yes it has 161k miles but you will never tell it. It was a certified Benz when I got it. check out the car fax it was purchased by a Court system for a Judge. This car has not giving me no problems what so ever & I believe this car will go over 500k miles its that damn good of a car. the crome wheels you see in some pictures is a set off my 1999 S500 that was totaled a rear end collision 4yrs ago. If you are interested in them maybe we can work something out. there are a set of Mercedes 19inc wheels with brand new Michelin tires on the car now. This car is in the rare color of cypris blue with tan interior you don't see this color often. My 2010 is the same exact color. I hope & pray my new S550 give me the service the S430 has giving me, What a damn good car.

Selling AS-IS Besides what's listed below, the car runs just fine, starts up and rides nice (it's not smooth due to the control arm).Nice interior, includes all Mercedes floor mats & spare tire w/tools and fuses in trunk. Working condition:A/CRadioDashTrunk (compressor works)Windows on the passenger side are a little temperamental but they roll down. Here's what I KNOW is wrong with the vehicle:Cosmetic:Driver/Passenger mirrors need to be replaced, trunk needs new weather strip (leaks when it rains), glove box needs to be fixed also could use a paint job, not many spots but there is some visible rust. Necessary:Control ArmsShocks-Hood (wont open without assistance, 2 man team at auto shop)Shocks-Doors (car should have air compressor to close)Shocks-Front and rear replacement (rear especially, fronts aren't too bad)Overdue for Service-Unsure which one, local Mercedes dealership has no history on this vehiclePassenger and possible driver side control armsOil leaking-drained 3 quarts in 2 months, unsure where leak is an engine cleaning could determine where it may be. This is a very Clean car as you can see in the pictures .
