for sale by owner. just bought a newer S550 on impulse. wasn't planning on selling this and happy to keep it. i am not a car dealer and this is a 14 year old car with a branded title. i have no clue why the title is branded. several experts have pointed out that this car has never been in an accident and that it was most likely keyed to pull money out of the insurance company because the resale values were so terrible on these cars if you bought them at the 20k+ range. i guess it's a fairly common practice but that's all i know. i overhauled the entire suspension. removed leaking hydraulic suspensioninstalled Arnott Industries coil conversion kit with new struts and shocksnew front lower control arms (ALL of them)all new bushings up front (ALL of them)new tie rods and bushingsnew caster/camber bolt kitlaser guided 4 wheel alignmentbrand new tires (all 4 matching)new coolant tank and flush the car had updated 16" S Class wheels but when i sold my CL the buyer wanted those wheels. so now the car comes with the powder coated gloss black two piece italian wheels in the last few photos. the AMG body is 100% original and came with the luxury edition, which included every single option mercedes offered that year. i've been told that this is the presidential edition S500 but i don't know enough about these cars to offer a firm answer. the vin is posted you can call your dealer and ask them yourself. i have all of the old parts for the suspension and the receipts for the labor as well. it was done about 6 months ago. the car rides great. engine, suspension and transmission are excellent. no dents or dings. front of car is faded from being exposed to the vegas sun. sorry this is not my garage queen. it's a driver so please be realistic. it's posted at 6500 or best offer because i don't want someone to just hit the buy it now and then start asking questions after they ruined my auction. ask questions first because once the listing is over, the car is sold, payment is due, and no more questions will be answered. i only want $6k for the car the way you see it with the black wheels. if you bring your own wheels you can have it for $5k. that's it. 2 prices, not open to any other possibilities. again, i am just as happy to keep it as i am to sell it. i fixed the big issue these cars all have and it's not going to depreciate anymore in value. payment due by bank to bank wire transfer within 24 hours of auction close no exceptions. vehicle to be picked up within 2 weeks of auction close from zip 89128. vehicle being advertised and sold in used, as-is condition with no warranty written, expressed or implied.
