The express up and down windows are great. Bose stereo the best! Power tilt and telescopic wheel is great. Suction door/trunk is a nice feature. Almost 400hp and 420lbs of torque is main reason for buying, fun to drive. The safety features are nice to have, even tho I hope to never have to need them. Too many favorite options to list, nice that the S600 comes with all, this one has park assist as well. Car is huge and heavy which I equate with safety, so another main reason for buying this car. I really like the masculine design and dislike the following 2000-2006 body style=generic looking and interior bland looking.

Model OverviewThe 2008 S550 has a 382-horsepower 5.5L V8 engine. The S550's V8 is matched to a seven-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is on the S550. All S-Class models come with eight air bags.Full leather upholstery and hand-polished wood trim are standard inside the S550. The standard sound system is a harmon/kardon audio system with 13 channels and 14 speakers. The system is MP3 and DVD audio compatible and also includes a six-disc changer and memory-card reader.The S550 comes with plenty of high-tech equipment, including a navigation system with a built-in 20-GB hard drive, heated seats, special interior ambient lighting, a power rear sunblind, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlamps with active curve illumination, heated washers, and a hands-free communication system with voice control..All S-Class models get the latest version of the COMAND system, a screen-based interface that controls a host of vehicle settings, plus navigation, audio, and climate control functions.The S-Class also gets a new Brake Assist Plus system, which warns the driver of the potential for a collision, then applies full braking through the powerful four-wheel vented-disc system the instant the driver touches the brake pedal; the system also primes the car's safety systems. The tires are all matched 90% tread High performance Continental that come from the factory on these AMG optioned cars. The body panels are laser straight with no door dings. The paint is shiny as new with very few minor imperfections. Everything works as it should. The car is mechanically sound with no funny noises. The interior is excellent with no rips or tears. History: I purchased this car from Maryland in 2010. (No harsh winters). I've kept it garaged and it shows. No smoking vehicle. It was used by my wife and she drives very slow. The vehicle was in accident before I purchased it and was repaired by Mercedes Benz Bethesda Md. I am a perfectionist and could never tell where the paint work was done!
