I am the second owner and the car just turned 86K miles. All maintenance is documented at the local Austin MB dealer (oil, general, AC, filters, new front rotors/brakes, TB switch, etc). You can get a full Carfax report. New Michelin Sport 18in tires all around. Custom wheels. New Front and rear Rotors/Pads. Custom designed microprocessor controlled engine analysis display built into the ask tray reading Boost, Intake Air Temp, Fuel Pressure, and Injection. These are real-time sensors mounted to the engine, not readings from the ODB.I am and engineer and custom designed the Powerdyne Supercharger install. The Powerdyne was upgraded with Ceremic bearings and will last a lifetime. The car dynoed at 475 Crank HP, and still gets 22MPG. The air-fuel tune is very conservative and it is a great everyday car. The car is always kept in the garage.Ask any Mercedes-Benz fan to pick three letters that mean speed, and they' will say AMG. The CLK55 Cabrio is powered by AMG's hand-built 5.4 liter aluminum V8 with twin- spark, 3-valve-per-cylinder heads, and dual resonance intake manifold. The five-speed automatic transmission is based on the heavy-duty gearbox used in the V-12 S-class models. And it is coupled to a reinforced differential with a beefy driveshaft four inches in diameter. Double wishbone front, 5-link independent rear suspension system delivers a sporting ride. The CLK55 AMG's suspension is upgraded with stiffer springs, tighter shock valving, thicker stabilizer bars and firmer suspension bushings. The top is fully lined with a glass back light, it takes about 25 seconds to drop once you release the header latch and hit the button. Larger-diameter and thicker vented brake rotors, squeezed by twin-piston calipers, increase stopping ability to match the power boost. The front vented discs are 13.2 inches in diameter and the rears 11.8. The rotors are pin-mounted, a racing technique which keeps them cooler. As expected with the AMG-upgraded brakes, stopping power is strong and fade-free. The CLK55 includes the Mercedes electronic stability program (ESP), which combines the functions of traction control and stability control; you can drive the car to about 7/10ths with these systems engaged. The back seat is large enough for adults. The trunk space is generous. The front seats are firm and supportive with multi-way Designo power adjustments. The CLK55 AMG includes special multi-contour heated seats with pneumatic side, lumbar. With a full complement of features: leather upholstery all over, dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, dual heated power outside mirrors. Beautiful and fast 2000 Mercedes Benz CLK 430 with a AMG Style Package, front bumper splitters, rear trunk lip style spoiler, rear glass spoiler, lip style, rear diffuser, nice white and black combination colors. Incredibly fast, but economical at the same time. It a real head turner wherever you go. A/T, Cold A/C, nice stereo system, lowered, nice staggered wheels size 19, (paid almost 2000.00 just for wheels and tires).
